I saw 4.6 rating I thought it is good, but its notI ordered chaatDahi sev putTikki chole chaatHakka noodlesVeg ManchurianChole chaat and Hakka noodle was not good.I don’t like Manchurian too but my friend liked.

Food was just purely pathetic! So we ordered:Pani puri- something was just fundamentally wrong with it. They gave us ketchup in place of meetha pani.Sev puri- pretty goodVada pav- the ONLY nice thing on the menu worth the money.Dal makhani- it was just cooked lentils with no spices. We asked for it to made spicy and they brought chilli powder and said "you can add it".Paneer tikka masala- we had to reconfirm that it was PTM as it looked nothing like it. It was super bland, again with NO spices- even your toddler would expect to taste some level of spice.Veg hakka noodles- it was SO bad that the saving grace was the Ching's schezwan chutney on the side.Veg fried rice- please PLEASE don't order this. This is the WORST thing we had. It was just steamed rice and steamed veggies with barely any salt let alone other spices. They said they were experimenting with it.Overall- please don't waste your time and money on this place. We were misled by the few good reviews but I would save my money for some other better place.

I went in yesterday to try their food. Honestly the best north style curry and it was amazingly delicious. Server didn't asked spicy level and I didn't asked either to try their default level. It wasn't spicy but flavor and aroma was spellbinding.Tandoori Roti with Chicken Kadai was a great lunch meal to keep me filled all day with no burps or inconvenience to the stomach.I will try again some more dishes too and keep you posted.Anyone who misses the North style food must try this place.

This is one of those family and friends giving 5 stars for the newly opened restaurant.Except ambiance, which also is questionable with pungent heavy cleaning chemicals smell the moment you open the main door to get in, is sub par.We are the first on A Sunday lunch at 11:30am.The beard person serving has no clue and has no interested in answering any questions and avoiding the tables post dropping the food. None came by to check out after dropping the food, which by the way came out very fast as we are the only one there till 12:30pm. Not at all inviting.Chilly chicken is made more like chines fusion, as it taste MSG in it (hope I’m wrong). Taste is like 3/5Fish pakora were bland and I have to sprinkle salt to make palatable and still searching for that zing! Well, it needs some chat masala to bring it to life ( eat the left overs at home for dinner with my own chat masala ). 3/5Methi Chicken , it’s another bland no spice nor flavor in it. This is the only one the server recommended as I was inquiring to eat something in the spicy curry section . Rotis are thick and under cooked (check the roti edges in the pictures, which shows the brown atta under cooked). Taste is 2/5Panner kathi role, it came with French fries and the only thing in all our meal was tasty!Kathi role is bland and no taste. No salt, nor spicy, well no flavor. One of those bring all ingredients of panner, onions , bell peppers together in a roll and nothing else to talk about. 1/5I hope they would stay in bussines for long, but given the amount of Indian restaurants around and the diaspora of desi tastebuds, it’s says otherwise.Nothing craving at this place to go back ?‍♀️May be give another try with the chat section and see how they fare there.

This was our first time eating at Northern Curry and we were blown away with how delicious everything was. We had a nice sampling of various items off the menu and, WOW, absolutely fantastic. The variety was great. I’ve eaten in quite a few Indian restaurants over the years and this was more than just the same old curries you find in most places. Very nice selection of various chaats that I’ve never seen before, a sizzling platter of chicken that was cooked perfectly, butter naan. I can’t remember everything we tried but we loved it all. Go. Now.

Taste: amazingPresentation: pleasingCleanliness: goodService: NiceI mean this is must try place. If you want to try some Indian street food this is the place. Wishing Northern curry team good luck for their new adventure.

Finally, good Indian food in the Tri-Valley area!Pleasant experience and delicious food. Will definitely be coming here again.Definitely among my top 10 in the Bay Area.

Excellent food, Dani puri and sprout chaat were like a party of flavors in our mouth.Garlic naan was excellentChili chicken was okayChicken tikka masala was yummyThey seemed understaffed and filling multiple roles but sweet and friendlyStumbled upon this on our way back from Yosemite pleasant surprise

A new Indian restaurant in Pleasonton, close to Dublin ( next to India Cash N Carry) and next to Vivid image salon. A good place to try , if you are bored of existing places in Tri Valley. Front staff is nice and place clean: We took out khati rolls , which tasted good. Portions are generous, priced a bit high though ( may be inflation). Definitely worth a try.

We heard a lot about their food truck in Mountain House and have been waiting for trying their food. Finally we went to their newly open Pleasanton restaurant. Food quality is very good. We ordered amritsari Kulche chole, pani puri and bhalla papri chaat. Everything was delicious and very close to Indian taste. It is by far one of the best Indian food we have had.
