I contacted the bakery for a pricing on a custom cakes/cupcakes. I was told a custom cupcake would be $8. Ok, great let’s order one! Then I’m told I have to order a minimum of 6 for $48. Ok, I guess let’s order 6 but I’d like them to be different colors. Well we can do 3 one color and 3 another. No, I don’t like that- how much more to make them all different colors. $10 each to get them done, so $60 total. Ok, great so I emailed details of what I wanted and they emailed back confirming it’s ok to do. When I get to the shop, I’m told it’s a minimum of $75 not $60 like I was told. Umm, no that’s not ok. And then I notice they didn’t make them to my order specifications. Im told they can’t fix them because the bakers are gone and I can pick up tomorrow. That doesn’t work for me because they’re for a birthday that’s TODAY. Ok so can I just take the ones I ordered and only pay $40. No no no no you already got a discount, I’m charging you $60 when it’s suppose to be $75. That’s not my fault and it’s not what I was quoted. The woman blatantly admitted she quoted me incorrectly because she was new. She reluctantly gave me a $5 discount. I’m so upset/disappointed that I had to pay so much for an incorrect order and not have the proper birthday gift.All in all, very poor service. I would not recommend coming here.Update- we tried the cupcakes and they tasted horrible! $2 box of Betty Crocker would have been 100x better.
They were so accommodating and made an excellent gluten-free, vegan cake! We had the chocolate with cookies and cream and any time there was a potential misunderstanding, they followed up to clarify and everything came out as we had hoped. Thanks for the great cake!
Thank you Nolands Cake shop for making the MOST BEAUTIFUL birthday cake for my daughter’s 13th birthday. You guys did such an amazing job, and did it exactly how we wanted it. So many compliments for the beautiful cake. And above all it tasted so great.The additional cup cakes we ordered were so beautiful and tasted amazing too. Highly recommend this place. as they really do care about keeping their customers happy. Will definitely be going here for any future baking orders!
Please beware do not come here Ordered a cake it was still she told me on the phone to come get the cake back when I got there she told me she does not know what is wrong with me because this cake is fine and took a bite of it well that cake tasted like it was out for two weeks definitely do not recommend he’s also very rude on the website it says satisfaction guaranteed which is not true he also tried touching my phone and cursed me out I think she just had too much pride because her cakes taste terrible and very rude customer service The inside also is very dirtyWhere they make the cakes definitely not Covid safe

Nolan's is 2 hours away from my home luckily my sister lives in Pleasanton so when I visit Nolan's is a must!! Their pink champagne cupcake is wonderful. Their cupcakes in general are FABULOUS and I've eaten my share of cupcakes.
Terrible. Ten years ago my brother-in-law and I went to pick up his grandson’s first birthday cake. It was no way the cake we ordered. The woman (who I later learned was one of the owners) insisted that it was in fact the cake we ordered. The gentleman employee who helped with this order originally told her “No this is not what they ordered”. She then started belittling us as “those kind of people” and mincing around. She assumed we were gay ( I am but my brother in-law is not). Some of the customers spoke up for us and left establishment. I know it was long ago but it lingers in my mind. My brother in-law was shocked at her behavior and realized how much hatred is thrown out to gay people. Her husband contacted us and profusely apologized and did give us a credit. But in the end, I will never cross their door again.

The most delicious cake. Noland's is a bakery that consistently delights customers with scrumptious flavors, delicate texture with cake and frosting, and excellent customer service. It is SO MUCH FUN to pick-up yummy cupcakes. For my bday, all I wanted was a fluffy chocolate cake with fresh whipped cream frosting. My husband went to Noland's to order a week ahead and he came home with a box of amazing cupcakes. Mango cream, strawberry crunch, and lemon. Yum yum yum. Yesterday, we celebrated with my chocolate bday cake and it exceeded all of my wishes! Thank you Noland's for your commitment to quality.
