Nothing great about this place. The Pizza is ordinary. Too little sauce or toppings. Overly priced. Just the name is New York Pizza. I ordered two pizza. Meat combo and Margarita. The Tomato sauce was hard to find. Tomatoes were raw and poorly chopped.No presentation skills.Meat was not much variety... Except only on the ordering menu.It's operated by Afghan owner. I am not against discrimination, but to compete, I didn't notice anything above the crowd.The service was lousy. I asked for crushed pepper ?️ the response was we have them on the counter by the side.. you can take from there.I won't recommend. For your money, there are other better choices in Pleasanton downtown for Pizza ? or to meet your appetite.
I have only ordered slices of pizza at lunchtime. That being said, I have tried most of their pizzas, and they are all amazing. The ingredients are always fresh and delicious. One of the few pizzas that I can eat that you don't feel weighed down by all the bread. It is a lunchtime favourite for me.
I live in Antioch but everytime my husband and I come to pleasant hill we always make a point of stopping by New York Pizza.. It is better than any chain pizza by far.. even better than that overpriced Zachary's pizza..
Please don't waste your time for pizza. We just order Half chicken and Half Peproni. The chicken was Old dry like a eating wood or rubber. Please look the picture below. I am very disappointed.
Been coming to this location for at least 20 years. The quality of food and service has always been great! When I want a slice of pizza, I am fine with driving 20 minutes to go to downtown Pleasanton for New York Pizza. I love downtown Pleasanton and I love pizza. Great combo!!
My family was visiting from Arizona, we stopped here on our way back from SF, and ordered a party sized four topping pizza with a couple of cans of soda. I asked the gentleman who was taking our order if they had a coupon or senior discount, he spoke with the manager and they gave us $4 off our order. Pizza was good, service was good. No complaints. Also, we arrived at 830pm and they close at 9pm and we were happy to just have a place to eat dinner as SF required a vaccination card to eat anywhere. I'd incidentally left mine at home in Ione, and my family refuses to get vaccinated since they've all previously had Covid-19 the year before.
Great ? delicious ?, plus you get the good service from the staff, all the staff is very polite.
I've been eating here since 1994 when it was $1.60 for a slice of cheese and a fountain drink. The pizza is the same so very grateful for that ?.
Great spot for comfort food! There is something for everyone. Clean and modern interior with a friendly staff. Highly recommended for some casual dining fun.
They still do not have the beef ribs...but the pizza is tasty
