I frequent Inkling and always want to like this place. The staff always rocks. They’re great. The facilities are always so dirty. I spent the whole summer coming here almost daily in 2021, and there was a pink mask and stains on the outdoor furniture that literally did not get cleaned for months. I had to go in and finally ask them to come clean to get them to do it, and the mask remained for another month or more. Their teas are really bitter, and I get the impression from watching them brew the ice team in the same stained plastic container, that they don’t wash their equipment as much as you’d think they would- leading to a terribly bitter aftertaste. Overall, I love the vibe and staff here, but they need to up their cleaning game a bit. ?
the caramel bourbon latte was sooooo good! such a unique and delicious flavor. egg and cheese sandwich was tasty as well. comfy space to relax in

Nice interior! Season special Cherry Blossom Latte is amazing! In the evening around 5pm there was almost no bakery selection, but that’s ok for coffee place I guess
The only legit coffee shop in Pleasanton.Checks out all boxes for a good coffee spot. Offer good coffee, decent pastries, good place to work.Haven’t tried any food items.Only negative thing would be the cold brew, just very bitter for my taste.
This is a coffee and tea house. The building is open and airy with posters of some of my favorite books on the wall. It smells coffee lovely. I had bourbon vanilla tea which was delicious.
Small drink & food menu, but all delicious, and the cafe is very well decoratedThey also have a small seating area called the vault & a common room where bands sometimes perform (pre-covid) plus outside seatingAlso lots of branded merchandise like stickers, shirts, mugs, & a pin
Always love my experience at inklings. The main coffee shop side is such a vibe, and there is plenty of seating to do my work. It is a go to spot for meeting with people. Would recommend it to anyone who loves Devout Coffee and a great study ambience!
Good coffee and food. The sandwiches come on a really nice bread/roll. Banana bread was fluffy and tasty. Good selection of interesting specialty drinks, though I didn't try them. Worth a try

Drinks:Lattes: lavender (less sweet for me) or the caramel bourbon latte are my go tos! These are my after lunch treats usually!4. Rewards program: sign up and present your QR code!I always get cute art too which makes me happy :)
