Worst service like no other Dennys. The waiter is pathetic shaking his head when we ask to buzz the table. Never came back to check on us. Had to ask thrice to get water and twice for sauce. He dumped the drinks on adjacent table and inquired if we don’t want our drinks. And he spilled the drink all over the glass. All on a Sunday 2pm unlike middle of the night where you expect lousy service. Food is 3/5. Never going back.?
Our first visit to this great looking Denny’s. Been planning this now for a few weeks. My spill is this: my wife and I have not been out to a restaurant without our children for 7 years. She is flying back to see her parents in the Filipines tonight at midnight and wanted to treat her to great breakfast without the kudos. This was our first time out by ourselves in 7 years. We choose this Denny’s because it was remolded and is right next Door to another place we frequent with our children. We are also in the food industry and take pride in the delivery of food orders that meet or exceed customers expectations. We ordered 2 Philly Steak Omelettes with avocado. Waitress appears professional and on point. BUT, order arrives and both plates are WRONG! Veggie omelettes extra avocado. Message here is: Pay attention to what your customers have asked you for. They are paying the bill. I want to be that Raving Customer head over heals and having waited 7 years for this special moment in time AM NOT. We will return and hope this never happens again. Denny’s failed us and Created a Lifetime Memory we can never forget.
It has been several years since I visited a Denny's. First time here since they opened. Staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant has outdoor seating. Other than a few crumbs on the chairs, the restaurant appeared clean. The local decor pays homage to Pleasanton with local pictures and signs. I ordered my pastime favorites: ultimate omelet and mozzarella sticks. They were out of marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks and the omelet was a little too salty for my taste. My hubby ordered Moons Over My Hammy with fries and thought it was too salty and meh. The food doesn't taste quite the same from what we remembered.
Went to check the inside of Dennys since they finally opened the restaurant but my god I went to the restroom and it looked like hasn’t been clean In months. Sad that this “new restaurant” has a restroom that looks like that. I'll be going to the new dennys by the outlets still
Been here twice, first time on a week day, the service and food was good. Very less crowd and the dining area was well maintained..2nd time it was on a weekend, there were free tables still we were asked to wait (45m) guess they were short of staff.Food was okay, but the service was v v slow, we never got the sauce for one of the dishes and the team was really struggling.. needs better focus on attending to table. Had to ask each time more than once including napkins paper etc.
"Denny's, it's an American institution!"This location just opened, and it shows. Everything is nice and clean, food tastes great! (thumbs-up to the kitchen staff!), but a lot of the front-facing staff seem severely under-trained:My order was not finished properly (no powdered sugar, wasn't given butter, had to request syrup). Had to flag down the waiter for coffee refills. I witnessed a family of four wait 5+ minutes while 5 waiters stood around and pointed at the seating chart trying to figure out where to seat them... in a 1/4-filled dining area. This should be a 2 star review, but I'm bumping it up to 3 for benefit of the doubt, and to support to kitchen staff.
We were excited try new Dennys. Pancake itself was yummy but ingredients were very centered. Service was rather slow - which we didn’t except at Dennys - except ordering part. Ordered Arnold palmer and apparently lemonade portion of soda machine broke but wasn’t told early enough. Got some weird flavor drink for a first round. Mango smoothie was 3 quarters full with a dirty mouth of cup, later looking at other’s table sadly that wasn’t the case. It was full. Pot roast for sandwich was super dry, and omelette was more like toppings covered with eggs. May come back for pancakes but not for anything else..
It was our very first time going to this place and we were excited. After we were seated outside with menus, we were waiting 15 to 20 minutes for our waiter. We were the only family outside for awhile. Then another family is seated outside two tables from us. They got their order and drinks taken by the waiter first before we did. Then the waiter went back inside and passed by us without even taking our order. Horrible experience.
Much awaited franchise close to Dublin, i was excited to try Denny's after 4 years. I love their ultimate omelets. My initial experience was not so tasty but i will give them benefit of doubt since it just opened.Customer Service can improve the following :Ordered via Uber Eats and order was put on schedule and did not get any acknowledgement from Dennys so had to cancel it.Then tried calling them to order via phone after 6 min hold it went to VM (super frustrated at this point). Finally ordered it via dennys.com ... to my surprise the restaurant was pretty empty 6pm Friday and got home only to find the utensils missing in togo order.
No simple bacon and eggs. It's the build your own grand slam. OK, but give me more than 2 of the smallest slices of bacon known to man. And for $12.95?
