[I do not often write reviews, wanted to add a review in light of one of the other reviews] I eat at Cocina Mexico regularly. At least once a month. If the weather is nice and I have time maybe twice a week, and sit in their outside area. Have been going there for the last ~5 years. The restaurant is not 'filthy'. It is clean. I have sat at the tables many times and have seen the tables cleared and cleaned. I tend to clear my own dishes/baskets, and I have seen the staff wipe down the table as I was leaving. The staff is always nice. The owner often takes my order and I have appreciated the pleasant banter and speediness of the food. The food is great. At lunch time there are times where the line reaches all the way to the door. It is popular.

Never disappointed!Always fresh and consistent taste. My goto always!

Ordered enchilada plate and taco plate for lunch. Simple good food and reasonably priced. If you are looking for more flavor then ask for hot sauce or salsa. Overall good experience and parking is plenty nearby.

Hidden gem in downtown Pleasanton. Good good at a decent price with a small outdoor dining area.

Fantastic chili verdi, rice and refried beans are the best!

Very clean and down home locals only and very warm community

Great burritos. Good service. Tip generously theyvare good people!

Was marginal at best, beans were very poor and the carnitas and al pastor really are not as good as any of the other Mexican restaurants in town in my opinion.

Got the enchiladas, chicken was boiled and tasted like rubber, tortilla was hard and food was warm. No love or seasoning in the food.
