Service can be better. Great food.
Wow... where do I begin...Well they made us wait for a while before they sat us even though they're was nobody there, and she first asked if we were ready to order...almost like she didn't want us to dine in...we should have taken the hint. We sat down and she asked if we wanted something to drink? I said water, my husband said sprite...I got a warm glass of water and so did he... no sprite. Then when she came to take our order my husband had a question about one of the dishes...she said, "So you need more time," and walked away. She came back later and took our order, my husband ordered the Mongolian beef and orange chicken and asked for the sprite again and I ordered the green pepper chicken. My husband's food was not so bad...mine was horrible... not green pepper chicken it was 100 different chili's chicken...tasted like you lit a match in your mouth. She eventually brought his drink... in a TO GO CUP! My husband asked for the check and she pretty much threw it on our table. I tried telling her that I was unsatisfied with my meal but she walked away...We paid and left and yes we still left a tip. I'm sure they will lose no sleep over our unsatisfactory experience. Apparently we are not the kind of people they enjoy serving... you see even other customers walked in they had hot tea taken to them and water with ice b.ut we were not, "Their cup of tea," it was just very apparent that my husband and I were the only couple of a different race there. So if you want to experience racism in 2022...just visit the China Lounge... you'll get a great taste for it. Sincerely yours, Officer....
Foods taste ok but the service is horrible! To be honest, the dishes are pretty spicy even in bay area. We spent almost $100 on our lunch but the stuff there were acting like we own them $1000000! No body checked if we were doing ok, no one would reply if you say thanks to them…we don’t know what were going with them. And we still need to pay the tips at the end for the “cold service”. I used to like this place a lot, but after this time, emm bye bye!
Every review about the wait staff being rude is VERY TRUE, the waitress who was not attentive at all took it upon herself to add a $7.00 tip on my copy to sign when she brought me the check (no posting of gratuity being added or mandatory anywhere or even in the menu). I mean I have never seen a wait staff do that before in my life! Also the food was edible but not the best or even close and to me is over priced, the plates were dirty and she served us water with stuff floating around in it, YUCK! I wouldn't eat here again even if the food was free! Wish I could give zero stars.
Great food, mediocre service. I ordered via their website for takeout and was told my order would be ready in 25 minutes. When I showed up, I waited about 10 minutes in line, because there were a few people waiting ahead of me. When I got to the front, they couldn't find my order. It turns out that they hadnt been checking the online orders. The hostess at the front apologized and said that it would be another 30 minutes. I ended up waiting over an hour and a half for my food. A little frustrating.The food is, however, good enough where I would still go back. If ordering take-out, I would recommend calling to order. (If you order online, call them to make sure they got your order.) I will mention that they seemed understaffed that day. There was one hostess who was busy taking/distributing take-out orders, answering phone calls, and helping to pack take out orders. She seemed a little flustered and curt with the customers, though she was working hard. I think if they had more people working, the service could be as good as the food.
Very decent schechuan food. Nice decor and clean environment. Recommend to people who went to outlet in Livermore to stop by after a day of shopping for some good food.
The food is decent, do items have authentic flavor and the rest are Fusion type. But their behavior and attitude is very bad. First receive your call and tell you wait, and never respond after that. Then even after ordering 40 minutes before arriving they don't start preparing and you have to wait half an hour more to get your food. This used to be good couple years before but now I will give my money some better place for better food and hospitality. I will never come back to this restaurant again
Their food is good, but not great. However, we waited a bit too long at the table while the kitchen was filling lots of bulk lunch orders for nearby offices. Do NOT go too early. we visited on a Tuesday at 11:00 amOur waiter Michael was very kind, though.
The food here for the most part tastes great. I didn't like that the waiters automatically assumed I could speak fluent Mandarin from my appearance however. It was quite a chore speaking only Chinese to my servers until I eventually cracked and asked for two spoons and more napkins in English. If you do come here, I highly recommend the boiling fish and the fried rice. Those are always a godsend.
Best Mongolian beef ever! Huge portion of the boiling fish (for reference, I'm 6ft, 230lbs and I eat at least 5lbs of food at buffets). Lamb stir fry was delicious. Chow mein mix was good. I never had plum tea but it was ok. Service was great!
