I give it 0 rating..ordered a paw patrol themed cake for my daughter’s 3rd birthday one week in advance they gave the cake without theme ?NEVER ORDER ANY CAKE IN THIS STORE...looks like no one cross verifies the orders...

Was in town and decide we wanted ice cream. Looked for a place and found here. We noticed on Yelp they only had 3 stars. My friends teenage son asked how an ice cream place could only have 3 stars.
We have always loved Baskin Robbins.. We always go there to celebrate joyful occasions in life or just when we feel like having an ice cream. But yesterday, I had a very bad & painful experience at Baskin Robbins, Pleasanton ( Santa Rita Road) We placed an order and waited 20 minutes to get the right ice cream served, because the lady at the counter prepared the wrong order not once but twice. It felt as if the delay was intentional. While waiting, the phone rang and when the young man at the counter went to pick up the call, the same lady told him that she will pick up the call and made us wait another 10 minutes. Then, she went to help the next customer in line instead of billing us. I had to ask the young man at the counter to help us with billing. I thought of complaining to the store manager but left since a long queue of customers formed while the lady was doing this to me. We had to wait 35 minutes to get 3 scoops of ice cream. And there was no apology offered. The bitter experience left a bad taste. I felt discriminated against and unwelcome. This was the first time we had such an experience at Baskin Robbins and hope we don't have it again. We had gone to celebrate a small personal occasion but the happiness was tainted by this painful experience.Update:I had lodged a complaint with B&R customer service. They responded promptly and conveyed their apologies.They told that the store will follow up with me within 2 business days. However, the store hasn't contacted me even after 8 days. Hope the store trains and sensitizes their employees better. And hope the employees learn to treat all customers equally. We love B&R but would skip this store in the future.

Great service and a ice cream
The worst place to ever experience getting ice cream. As I was paying for my ice cream and taking a small bite of it while waiting. A lady scolded me from behind telling me off to put my mask on demanding that I wear it and not eat my ice cream inside the store. I asked her if she worked there claimed she does without a uniform on off the clock and a backpack on and walked away rudely towards the back of the store. I was so upset at that moment didn't think mainly of it but the fact that a mom and three kids witnessed it and disturbed by it was unacceptable. I've been in customer service all my life and how she approached me was very unacceptable and that she needs some form of training in having manners. Thank you for the awful experience.
