A mom-and-pop type of family run restaurant with decent food. Best Indian food place in this neighborhood, you would definitely have to travel some distance to find other decent Indian food options. I would recommend this place for lunch/dinner if you work or live in this area.

Excellent food. We got the Chicken Biryani, Chicken Korma and Garlic na'an. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!
Food tasted fresh and authentic. We tried Dal Makhni and Shahi Paneer with garlic naan. Wait time was acceptable for dine in order. We did a follow up visit and repeated our order. Taste was quite consistent.

This little family owned gem is by far the best Indian cuisine in the Tri Valley area - and I've tried many. There is a great variety of flavorful dishes on the menu and I love the vegetarian options, too. You can request the level of spice you prefer and every dish I have tried has had delicious flavor. The food is always served with a smile and the portions are excellent. Treat yourself to an amzing meal and support a local family while you are at it!
Very tasty, home-like food. Since moving to Pleasanton, Ashoka has been the backup plan for the family in case we are tired after work, or returning from any travel and not in a mood to cook.Definite 5-stars to the place for taste, quality and quantity.
The food’s great!! Been to a good amount of indian places before but this one’s my favorite. Haven’t had indian food in a while and went again today.. best food I had in a while!! ??
