Food was as good as any decent Mexican restaurants and worth the money. Drinks weren’t great though for adults. But kids drinks were good. . Loved their fresh Nacho, was fresh and warm.. loved the sides provided as well.If just 2 we’ll- eaters, then their scrumptious sampler platter is awesome to go for.We were seated outside and the weather was lovely too. Not very crowded, but the restaurant was busy.. 75% full when we went on a Sunday evening.
Today i was greatly disappointed. The food had no taste and my chili relleno had no flavor or cheese. The waiter messed up on the bill. We had to get up to get the hostess to get water for us and we ask 2 times for the tortillas we ordered. We won't be going there for a while. If you go i hope you have better luck then we did. The whole family gathered at Danville decided for food from a new country. We short listed Mexico for that day. Recommended by my sister-in-law, we were to Alberto’s Cantina at Pleasanton. We have to park our cars away from the restaurant, but no regret as we enjoyed the yummy food. It started with Chips and Salsa. We had Corona with Margarita, Bear, Juices and Soups. The ambience was good in the restaurant. Interiors of the restaurant were decorated as if you are in some Mexican home. In food we ordered Vegetarian Burrito (we asked for rice and beans on the side), Chicken Fajita, Soft Tacos, and Burrito etc. I tried all veg dishes and enjoyed the different taste. Service was good and prompt. In the end we had Sweet Dish named Churro with Sweet Butter. More than 2 hours spend there within no time.
Chips and salsa were good. Their menu is so typical Mexican with nothing special.I ordered their Monterey and its really a salad with chips in it. The lettuce was wet and made the chips soggy. Tge bottom of the plate had an inch of water. Never did the waiter ask if we liked our meal. It was quite obvious we didn't like it as the plate was 1/2 full. The children had no flavorings except for the salsa I had to put on it. Again another boring Mexican restaurant.

Highly recommend! They have a lot of margarita options to choose from. The family that owns it are sweet people and the food is delicious. Would give it more stars if I could.

Came here for dinner on a random Thursday and it wasn’t crowded at all. I’d give this place a 4.2 rating. The restaurant offers free chips and salsa, wherever the chips are warm but tasted ok. The shrimp enchilada was very good, it came soaked in some white sauce. The chicken enchiladas that husband got was average. Their homemade hot sauce is good, especially if you need a kick. We spent around $30 for two plates. The restaurant overall ambience is nice. It’s not a bad option especially if you’re craving Mexican food and there are very few in the area.
