I wish I could give this place 6 stars! On a late night, this was such a chill and fun environment. The owners and staff were amazing, accomidating, and the best at their crafts. The best food and drinks, hands down. For a first time visitor, I'm glad we found this treasure!
Prime Rib Cheese Steak Sandwich is a 10, it is delicious.Our server was pleasant, attentive and professional.The reason for the rating is due to a pricing issue. There was a discrepancy in the Special on the chalkboard, the menu and the daily specials menu.....$18.99, $19.99 and $28.99 for steak dinner.
Nice setting. well kept. Only one wait person on duty for lunch but she did a good job Hamburgers and fries are very good. Sandwiches are a little less so.
The bartender was very rude to my father and the food wasn't good. I took like 2 bites. Won't go back. Oh and they didn't have a drink menu.
My family said god things about Magoo’s Grill, so we met there for dinner on their famous Prime Rib Thursday. We sat outside where there is a small patio area that was thankfully heated. The food was pretty good, however the service was lacking. I realize there are many establishments that are short-staffed, but we really felt “forgotten” due to being outside.We asked for hot water, I think when they first came to hand us the menus, and we were brought an empty mug with a lemon wedge. It took us 30+ minutes of waiting with our menus before we finally got up and went inside to ask if we could place an order for food. At some point mid-meal we were told someone would bring out the hot water. By the time we finally ordered food and finished eating 1.5 hours later, we still had no hot water. When we got our check, the wait staff apologized for not ever bringing the hot weather, and then offered that they “removed it from the bill.” I honestly don’t recall the last time a restaurant charged for a cup of hot water - especially after spending $100+ for 4 people. Despite the issues, the food was good and so I’m still giving it 3 stars.
The service was really bad . But the girl was new ( she said) . The pizza didnt have any sauce to speak of . Which was weird . About 3/4 the way through the meal my brother ordered a pizza to go ( I guess he liked it more) We waited a long time and even was given the bill before the 2nd pizza arrived , which was odd as well . I may try it again in 6 months .
Took two friends there for dinner and drinks telling them that I heard everything on the menu was good. Hopefully we just caught them on an Off Night.Service next to Non-Existent. Bartender was only person working taking orders and bringing orders to tables.My Meal:Ribs so dry couldn't eat. Sent back for a burger which took 30 to arrive and was barely warm. Guests were already finishing meal.Guest 1: Tri-Tip Two pieces of odd looking dry meat. No juice. She said one piece was ok.Guest 2: Had a Cheeseburger and said it was good.Split a desert, brownie with Ice Cream on top. Was Ok nothing special.Tab: $119 with tip.
I would consider myself a regular at this place, but after tonight a the young staff lady called three people at our tables F’ing @**holes “but the full words” for smoking to close to the building. No I’ll words were said back to the lady and those people were apologetic as the didn’t realize they were to close. But the worker preceded to approach our table telling the people that the need to leave. No one was rude in anyway except for the the staff. It’s really sad that in these times the staff doesn’t care about loyal customers and will ruin a large group of regulars to not want to return as long as that lady continues to work there. I am sure our table wasn’t the first bad encounter with this lady and we won’t be the last. I hope the business owners understand that this staff member is doing to their profits. Anyway that’s all, it’s just sad to see someone ruin some great experience at that place. Sad
Wanted steak dinner football N beer came here Plain and simple. Medium rare steak+baked potato+veggies food was great price was great!!
This is a nice neighborhood bar with surprisingly good food. The service has been a little hit or miss but we haven’t had really bad service here and I’m pretty understanding when places are busy. They make really good drinks. We end up here about once a month for dinner & drinks. It’s also very reasonably priced. Try Prime Rib Thursday’s. It’s not the best Prime Rib I’ve ever had but really good for the price.
