First of all, they don't pay attention to customers. And, quality of food is way lower than any sushi restaurant I used in Walnut creek and Concord area. Ordered hot tea but never served. Asked again but brought cold water. Quite impressive.
Order came fast and they all taste good
We've ordered sushi to-go from Damo Sushi twice. The first time I said outloud, 'I think this is the BEST sushi I have ever had!' ... and I never say that. The second time was just as amazing and I said, 'This IS the BEST sushi, hands-down' ... and I've had sushi all over the Bay Area and beyond. Try it. You'll like it!
Came in hungry, left full. We enjoyed everything we ordered. We’ll be back!
Miso was bland and cold. Food was OK . Service was the worst! Not going back.
Use to be my favorite sushi spotbut lately they have been terriblewent in for dine in, no type of greeting, or customer service, we were received with a mug. Waitress did not acknowledge or come near us for 10 minutes.They were soley focused on door dash and pick up orders.I had to get the ladies attention so she can bring us drinks.When food came, Sushi was falling apart, and are bento boxes were all mixed up.Never coming back.P.S. they also had a yellow food safety sign a few months back for food violations.
Honestly I came here again hoping it would be better than last time but I was extremely disappointed and it was worse than the last time I was here. The sushi was overwhelmed unagi sauce that I couldn't even taste the sushi, the ramen noodles were chewy, flavorless and felt like I was chewing rubber. The broth for the ramen was flavorless. The tempura was 50/50 pretty okay. The sad part to me is where the side dishes (miso soup & house salad) are the best things that are consistently the most flavorful and joyful things to eat. The side dishes should build you up for the actual meal, not be the best highlight of the entire thing.
Good food but treat customers terribly. Misunderstanding over the phone and the gentleman just hung up on us. Will not be returning
