We happened to come across this place while going to a nearby shopping center. I'm glad we decided to try it out! All the food we ordered was very good and the prices were reasonable. Our waiter was very attentive and provided excellent service. I would recommend this restaurant! They have something for everyone.

Love this Texas style BBQ restaurant. Our favorite in ribs place here. There are only couple of good bbq places in the whole Walnut Creek, Pleasant hill and Concord areas and this place is one of them. Ribs are juicy and falling of the bone with great sauce on the side. The brisket was soft but was on the dry lean side. But the all the sides or fixings were good. Loved the bread pudding for dessert. The restaurant has plenty seating and great ambiance. Staff is friendly.
What a totally fun night! Our group had a craving for some tasty BBQ and this was the place. I appreciated that it wasn't noisy so you could easily hear everyone at our big table. Our server was super personable, offered good suggestions. Always a fan of brisket, I went with the Chunk O' Beef brisket, the garlic mashed potatoes and a Ceasar salad. This brisket is thick cut and super moist and juicy. What a treat! Wished the portion was little bigger but it was delicious. They offered a decent selection of drinks, and prices were fair. Would certainly return again to try some of the other meats.

Good food as always but portions were smaller. The pulled pork (lean) sandwich was very good but where's the meat? Barely had any coleslaw on the sandwich. Texas Fries were hot and crispy. Overall good but not as good as it used to be. The bartender asked for my vaccination card but didn't ask other customers who walked in after me. Plus, she was wearing a single layer "bandana" as a mask. Not very comforting. Better to stick to Takeout orders.
This place is my go to BBQFor my birthday I sit down and chow down....Lip smacking sauce full rack ribs pork with texas fries and beans with clean fresh Cherry Coke made for me.... birthday also choose the three bread sides plus house salad with dinner ...Don't get me wrong but the Beef ribs r to die for they come three or four pack! Little high price wise but worth it!!!!Tonight I wasn't paying my tag was on some one else so I went soft....Great meal fun interaction with our server ... seem she was there when needed an more...The place is clean there's also upstairs and yes certain times the place is busy! In this regard parking gets full quickly with it off frontage road again parking is tight!......Even before they moved here some years ago from the small venue before it's local hangout with full bar ..So enjoy some Texas style BBQRight here in California...Folks Happy trailsTake care be safe and have a Great day!
The best prime rib on the planet, and I eat it wherever I can. There is no comparison anywhere. The scalloped potatoes are ridiculously impossible to resist, and the coleslaw is also very good. Not only is this true of an individual experience, it is consistently true over a span of perhaps ten years, so that tells you something. In addition around the spacious bar are booths where you can comfortably eat dinner and people watch.
