First we want to thank the staff that welcomed us for dinner even though it was a half hour before they were due to close. I had the Mushroom Spinach Lasagna in a Vodka Sauce that was absolutely delicious! It was served topped with micro greens and fresh grated Parmasan. My husband had the breaded chicken sandwich which was also outstanding. They also have a really nice selection of local wines, very tasty. At no time did we feel like we were hurried through our dinner. In fact our waiter, who provided wonderful service , encouraged us to relax and enjoy our dinner. We spent a week in Placerville exploring many restaurants and The Farm Table Restaurant was by far our best experience.

We drove an hour expecting to be served fresh, good food going by false reviews. I ordered lamb which did not have the flavors it said it did, and I ordered medium well and got rare. My daughters chicken was over cooked and her waffles were cold. They said they only had downstairs seating but we saw a table for two upstairs the whole time during our visit.

Had the most delicious time at the restaurant for our party of 8. The salmon was devoured. The other entrees looked amazing as well. The upstairs was perfect for our large group!

I had been looking forward to eating here for quite awhile but my expectations were a bit let down. The servers were all very kind, our main entrees were delicious (a bit on the salty side) and hot, but the presentation and timeliness of things was lacking. It seemed that they were short staffed. I also feel that people who make reservations should be seated in better locations than those who are walking in. We are planning to go back and try again to see if it was just a day for them.

Food is amazing! Beautiful quaint setting! The burrata appetizer, green goddess salad, piccata pork chop and peanut butter chocolate ice cream pie/cake were all favorites! A must try in Placerville!

Everything about this place was AMAZING! Well worth thr wait while they are short staffed! Chef Fred did an amazing job of balancing how busy they were with excellent customer interaction! Clayton was our waiter and he was excellent! David was great as well. This place was busy and WELL worth the wait!!! The food was AMAZING.... we drove from Missouri to eat here! We will be back. 5 stars all the way around!!!

Staff was friendly, the atmosphere cozy and charming, and the food was beyond gourmet! Our family had a very nice lunch and we even chatted with a few fellow customers. The wait was a little long, the only reason I didn't give 5 stats, but our overall experience was great. We will definitely be back.

The food was amazing - from the calamari appetizer, the crusty bread with the balsamic/olive oil dip. The lamb chops my husband had & the filet I had were delicious. The end of our meal was dessert - Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream Cake. It was all delicious and we can’t wait to come back! Go find out for yourself!

Wonderful ambiance and the food was unique, flavorful and delicious. Service was a bit under par considering everything else. We will definitely be back!

As I was overlooking the window menu (outside) for a tasteful salad, a local passer-by commented "that place is really good." The prices were surprisingly decent for Main Street. I chose the Green Godees Salad and I want to tell you first, I still recommend you go there, it's fresh and it's good. The only thing that wasn't good, was the size of the greens were extremely large and inconvenient /messy for eating, but I guarantee they'll notice this review if you do too and improve. As long as "bite-sized" is kept in mind, it should all be good.Nonetheless, after tossing the salad in the bathroom (my mom was sleeping in the living room), I plowed it down with godspeed. The sauce was a perfect citrusy (lol I think, I'm bad with indicating flavors), light delight. I found myself dripping it into my mouth from the plate some after I was done. Also I used to manage produce, I know what I'm about, that stuff nice.I definitely got what I was coming for, a light-weight and healthy option. I've had too many oily, heavy foods lately and so I recommend this place if you're having a light-weight food craving as well. The other stuff on the menu sounded appetizing, I'll come back when they're less busy to try some.
