Today's work location! It was laundry day so we headed into Placerville to hit up the laundromat. Yelp is our go-to for finding new (to us), well-rated places, especially since Art is an Elite Yelper. Searching for coffee and tea, The Corner Spot shows up right across the street! A quick look at the menu confirmed that it would be the perfect place for us. It is a healthy café serving shakes, teas & other nutritious treats. We also got to meet the most awesome people! Owners Jami and Abraham were manning the store. We felt warmly welcomed upon arrival, and as the wide variety of options were explained. Everything we tried tasted so decadent, it felt like such an indulgence! They are so in-tune with their customers that if they see you grooving to the music playing, they adjust the playlist to keep you moving. So we worked, first sipping teas then meal replacement shakes for lunch. I had the Chunky Monkey and Art opted for the peanut butter cup. Ermahgerd... so delicious!

Great spot to stop when passing through Placerville or when or when Thompsons GMC is running behind on a simple oil change. I've eaten at the Corner spot 3x's and always leave full and happy.
Omg went in there not knowing what the heck I was doing or ordering. Ended up with a jamoca almond fudge…. Omg so good!!! And so filling!! Thank you to the wonderful owner who was so patient with my frazzled order. Will definitely be stopping by again! Check them out.

Delicious meal replacement smoothies and post fitness protein shakes. I’ve tried one of each so far and they are REALLY yummy and creamy. Super nice owners too. They’re behind the key kiosk by Raleys. Try it out, let’s keep this awesome business open. So good!
I’m becoming a frequent flyer and brag about them to local peeps. Their Blue Razz is now my coffee replacement! Love that they know me by name when I come in, really adds that small town charm!
