This was such a pretty place to sit and have lunch. The owner Frank was so nice and easy going. I ordered and received the biggest Philly cheese steak I have ever eaten. It was delicious. We hope to get back for another visit. It’s a bit of a drive, but the lake is pretty and the food and service were great.
My wife and I got the chance to meet Frank while passing through on our road trip. He is kind, personable, passionate, and a wealth of cooking stories and history, a real chef vet! The food is phenomenal as well as the view. Especially with the bald eagles flying over head. Thank you Frank for welcoming us and the surprise bread pudding, it was amazing!
Very good food! Large portions & very reasonable prices. The outside seating next to the lake was beautiful. The only downside of my experience was the rude waitress.
Cozy lakeside diner with classic, delicious food. Took a 30 minute stroll around the lake after lunch.
Great burgers and fries, nice views of Finnon Reservoir from every table. Outdoor patio next to the lake as well.
Food is always great. Frank is an amazing cook and a very nice guy. His wife on the other hand is down right rude. May be how she always is, but it is definitely off putting. We were treated like we were a major inconvenience. She told us they were busy, which we were fine with. But then she continued to tell us that we may as well just leave...continued on with how customers are the reason she does not get breaks or food. She started to take our order and then turned away to bring customers their food, without saying anything. If frank wasn't such a nice guy, and if their food wasn't great....we would never return due to how we were treated by his wife. Such a bummer to treat your customers like that
Wow. First time in and I'm hooked. What amazing food. The quality of the ingredients, and the creativity with the recipes, I'll definitely be coming back. Nice view right by the lake, too.
Franks diner is delightful! The breakfast here was better than any breakfast spot I’ve been to here in the city. The vibe was super homely and Frank and his wife were so very pleasing! I don’t know when, but I’ll make it a point to get back out the Franks diner—hopefully sooner rather than later!

One of my top 5 places on the PLANET for food. Absolutely delicious breakfasts and lunch/dinner. Frank puts his heart into every dish. Excellent way to finish off an extremely physical disc golf round at Finnon Lake.
