This place is such a little gem! Sake it's great here, they have so many unique sushi rolls here and a lot of unique dishes.
Tasty, fresh sushi. Creative rolls I've never had or heard of. It's worth the trip just to try the Crunch Crunch roll and crab cakes.*Especially after a long day of golf.
They are more worried about their To-Go Orders than the people sitting in their dining room. I've been dining at FnB for years and it has dramatically changed. The entire Sushi Bar is an assembly line of To-Go boxes, Bags and Utensils NO Patrons and before you ask YES other establishments are allowing people to now sit down at the Sushi Bar.The Sushi Chef's, Waiter and the owner are more focused on getting to go containers out the door. It took about an hour to receive our first order of sushi, while looking around the room you'll see other patrons with no food on the table and empty glasses. We have moved on to another establishment that serves their patrons in a timely manner.Wake up Steve !!
Great Sushi and atmosphere. Service is not the fastest, but if you have the time it a great spot.
Just had lunch with veg sushi and regular sushi plate. In my lifetime it’s the worst sushi rice ever. It was so sticky like mochi. Terrible cooks.
I searched and searched but there were no bottles full of fish. There was fish on plates, fish on kabobs and fish on bamboo but no bottles! The fish was good but the lack of bottles has be concerned.
Went there for friends birthday.being allergic to shell fish I ordered the rib eye steak and asked for a substitution for the jumbo shrimp. I was told that they could not substitute anything for the jumbo shrimp so I said fine but asked for them to add some mushrooms to the steak. I received my meal without the shrimp even though I paid for them so now I could not even give them away to someone that would like them. To make it worse they did not give me any mushrooms either so I inquired about those and I was told that they could not give me a side order of mushrooms. Then the waiter told me that the cook gave me extra veggies to make up for it. I’m not that big of a veggie fan so I didn’t even eat very many in the first place. When it comes to customer satisfaction this establishment gets one star!! I feel that the waiter and the cook didn’t get the idea that customer satisfaction is what gets you to come back. Therefore in the future I will not be going back to fish in a bottle. They have soured me greatly with their lack of caring what the customer wants and he is willing to pay for.
I would come back here again.Strange sushi combinations that were surprisingly good. Service was a bit slow due to to larger parties.
I had lunch here with my friend. The beer was cold, the rolls were tasty, the service was alright. I may or may not try it again.
Because my husband is Japanese I have been to a multitude of Japanese restaurants & sushi bars. I've learned to identify good sushi & sashimi through him, as well as other dishes. Last night was my first visit here because he told me previously it was more costly than many other good places. So I went with a friend but found that to be true. The food was fine--no complaint. But my server was very unfriendly, hardly spoke (until we left), & never offered to replace my ahi salad (my fault cuz I ordered incorrectly but an offer would have been nice). In fact, she didn't say anything but to show me the ticket I had circled incorrectly. We felt ignored while she worked on call-in orders so we asked another server to take our order. She dropped off my additional To-Go order as she passed by our table without a word. Never asked us how the food was or if she could get us anything else. We felt very unwelcome. Good Japanese food is not hard to find in Orange County but customer service matters. No matter how busy a place is food, service, and to a lesser degree ambience, make up the experience. And my experience was negative compared to many other Japanese restaurants.
