Lumpy’s has a reputation for great breakfasts and burgers . The service is ok , it was the end of there service hour . They close at 3 pm. But on this visit I had a bowl of Chili and my Dining companion had a chili dog . The Chili came out Luke warm and had to send it back , had to ask for onions and cheese . Also had to ask for crackers or bread , the server came back with crackers. My companion asked how the chili dog would be served and they told him in a plastic bowl with a paper lining , there was no way he could have maneuvered eating that with his hands …he asked for it to be placed on a regular plate so he could use a knife and fork . The chili was just so-so . I don’t think I would order it again .
Stopped here on a trip up from Monterey. So glad we didn't go to Denny's! Lumpy's had fantastic food (we had the chicken fried steak and the carmel pecan waffle). Good prices, and our server, Kellie was super cool and attentive. Glad we went local!
We order lunch for kids here. The french fries was so crisp and fresh. I usually don't like hamburg , but this one was very goood.
This is one of my FAVORITE PLACES to eat ? its affordable and good. Not only that but its close by the water views. The service is great and the people there are beautiful inside and out.
Full breakfast with the Italian sausage is great (get sunny side up eggs, not scrambled though as the scrambled come from a container) and the coffee is good with free refills

If you go to eat there makes sure you are hungry. The portion are big. The breakfast is great. We'll be going back on my next visit to CA
This spot is my go to and fall back. Love the Parkside hot sausage and the French toast (and I don't care for this typically as noone makes it right). The best garlic burger, even after you reheat it 2 days later (I can never eat the entire thing in one sitting). The owner/Mgr is as sweet as could be with all the pressure of the pandemic going on too. I really appreciate their loyalty to Pittsburg peeps.

I had the chicken and waffles this morning. Although the waffles were wonderful the chicken was a little dry and the fried chicken batter could have been a lot better. The service was wonderful the atmosphere I so loved. And best of all the coffee was fresh.
