Ordered the Ploughman with the Greek pasta salad while enjoying 2 drafts. The beer selection is wonderful, the food is delicious and the staff is very accommodating and welcoming. It’s the second time I’ve been here already and I know I’ll be coming back for more. 10/10 would recommend

After 2 Years of being closed we were glad to see it open again. However as it was before the pandemic, service is terrible.We went in to day about 3:30p. Not too busy. Was told to sit anywhere. Menus were given and that was the last time we saw any servers. After 10 minutes we left. So how come the servers didn’t come by? Too busy changing available beer signs. I think the server who gave us menus completely lost time. Even when she was done she went to tables on the other section of the restaurant never looking our way. And the other server? walked right past us with menus just laying at our table to check on the table next to us.Went to La Piñata. Food ordered served and done in 30 minutes. And that’s with several servers checking in on us. You have A LOT TO LEARN GUYS. Customer service makes a restaurant NOT the food
Best wood fire pizza around. Grab a pint of tasty brew to wash it down. Play some foosball or darts. Bring the kids. A good family place.
When is the Pittsburg location opening again? Car shows starting this week down town again. Loved going in for beer and Parkside pizza.

We are so fortunate to have a local brewery in Pittsburg! The beers are great (both in-house and local beers), the restaurant space is fun and inviting and we love the food. Any time we have a big group that wants to go somewhere local to eat we head to E.J. Phair.
Sometimes places like these: popular, loud, dark, drinking etc dont serve the best food, but guess what? EJ's is the exception, the pizzas are unbelievably good, seriously hard to believe unless you try it for yourself. Had to do them the favor of leaving a review because the pizzas really deserve it.
EJ Phair is a classic Pittsburg staple. With a growing food menu and a great rotation of beers.Their Concord and Alamo locations are on par.
