We were told to go here to eat fish tacos! We didn't expect that recommendation to come from a fast-food place (ha! hubs called ahead to make a to go order!! ??)...so we chose to go here on a date night! ???We did thoroughly enjoy those fish tacos ??, but my hubs chose asada burrito? and felt it was soooo much saltier. I have to agree, seemed saltier than just flavorful. But he still ate it... shouldn't have finished the whole thing all at once, but he decided that after the fact.Service was quick, staff were very friendly. Would come through again if we were passing through the area!
Some salt and pepper and your beans and some cumin, onions garlic and a little salt in your rice would go a long way.. but the tostada and the enchilada were were not too bad. But way better than Taco Bell..?
I've only gotten the mini tacos of Carnitas, Lengua and Chicken quesadilla but they give you all lot of meat portions. It actually tastes good unlike most Mexican restaurants that have lost their touch and give you very little meat portions and the taste is very bland but here at California burrito it actually tastes seasoned. If only there were more of these restaurants over here where I live then I'd go here all the time. Pretty satisfied.
The pork and chicken chimichangas are delicious, but I ordered two shredded beef chimichangas. I really want to give it a lower rating, but the food is pretty amazing for the price.
Nasty as carne asada quesadilla and I tried talking to them about it but “they couldn’t help” last time I eat here.
They are consistent.

Review long overdue, been eating here since the week they opened and it may not meet some folks expectations as I learned trying to put friends on to how good they taste (especially the lengua ?) but when people get used to taco bell they can never appreciate cuisine the way its meant to be. I order through door dash at least once a month and enjoy the tacos and fruit juices as well and for the price it's a pretty good value for authentic eats!
Went to the drive thru. Customer service was great. Ordered a super steak burrito and a shrimp burrito. The steak and shrimp was seasoned and flavorful and the burrito itself was a good size. The horchata was okay.
The food was fairly alright. Had my order been correct it would have been excellent. But for 42$, I got 1 super burrito, and 5 street tacos, 1 soda, 1 juice... Not made as ordered, wayyyy to much money. I don't get it. Still confused on price total, no receipt given. No help to fix. So 3*
