The meat was tender and tasty. The bread was the finest rye I have ever had. Russian dressing, cheese and coleslaw were the perfect compliment! Our server, Sue, was amazing. She appropriately harassed one of our group for ordering French sauce (which he said was delicious) and brought him a piece of pastrami to taste. She drank the refills before we needed to ask (brought a fresh lemon for my drink each time, which is my measure of a great server). We had a party so we had to wait a little longer.
We chose a place near our motel and with good reviews. They didn't guess. The place seems to be popular. A lot of people! But there are also a lot of tables. Nimble and charming waiters. Portions are very large! Dinner with two margaritas, BBQ salad, lasagna and steak was $80 with tips. This establishment left a good impression. Would like to recommend it!
Good size portions. Went for late night hours. They only had 1 cook and 3 servers so if you need a spot for a big crowd be very patient cause they don't have the employees to cover the tables quickly. Food was good and prices are great.
I usually go to the norms in whittier but decided to go to this one instead. They were busy as usual and that's okay however my bacon and hash browns were cooked way too much it was burnt, the over easy eggs were also over well (almost burnt) but the Pancakes were cooked perfectly. I didn't want to complain so I finished the whole plate and I still tipped because the service was still good. Bottom line I will still return next time I'm in the area but ill probably go to a different location. Norms food is usually great its just this one time.

Pleasantly surprised... It had been a while since I was there... Recently I noticed some negative reviews ??? ... I'm glad I checked for myself...It was excellent... The food was hot the way it should be & the portions are generous ... Our server was great too ... She stayed on top of the coffee ... Keeping my cup full ... Sometimes you have to do your own checking... Not all people have the same taste ...
Original diner, great for breakfast, lunch or late dinner. Since the pandemic, they don’t have 24hrs service anymore. Always good food, always friendly service. Their menu has expanded to more Mexican options. Including Birria and Birria burger. Will try next time.
? One of my favorite places to have breakfast at. Our servers were very nice and attentive. They changed their menu! Several items with Birria. Soo delicious. I love it. It was full the day I went but I didn’t wait long. Always enough parking here. Thank you!
Great place never disappoints no matter what location you choose. Great customer service Great deals and always clean and comfortable never rushing you to finish so you can get out to bring in the next customer. Great for any family or couples to enjoy and relax almost like home with a wide variety of food and goodies with Great deals to satisfy anyone's taste or budget. Thank you ? Moderately busy when I was there. Flagging down a server to get a table was a bit of a pain. Getting any sort of service required washing someone down. Food came out relatively quickly, everything was good and portions were large. Overall it was alright, nothing outstanding. Norms is a mainstay of California diner history and rightfully so.
