Always great to eat there. Been going there for over 30yrs. Green burrito and the famous Mexican style French fries hit the spot. A true story of migrants who came here and created the American dream. I hope their kids are grateful for their sacrifice and success.. they left them an amazing successful business. The Pico Rivera community truly appreciates their hard work and dedication to make some of the best authentic Mexican food.
Food is decent, Have some popular items that are go to only.( Fries, Special quesadilla, and a couple of Burritos)Entire menu not the bestHours could be better.Staff could be friendlierDefinitely a traditional spot among locals
What in to buy all meat burritos. There were three Hispanic women cooks that were laughing and looking straight at me when I ask the cashier for some chili I was the only one in line and I just looked at them and ask them if they had a problem he made me feel very uncomfortable I will never step a foot in that business again for the owner of this place you need to teach them some kind of respect or bringing it to bring it to their attention that if they were laughing at something that they said to each other they shouldn't be just looking straight at a customer cuz the customers are going to think that they are laughing at them or talking about them luckily I did not say anything to them I just got my burritos the chili and walked out
Been eating here for 50 years..The best chili verde and tacos.. I drive at least 4 times a month from OC to eat here..A family owned GEM!
I haven't had a time like the one I spend with my daughter and grandkids like I spend at Mario's tacos.Talk about the best.Someday I'll be there with all 3 & 7 grandkids.+ mom ,sister, and her son.Thanks. God bless

I just spent my last penny at Mario's tacos.I'm using a truck that is not my own company vehicle, therefore I did not have masks in it. I looked in the glove compartment to find some in a package, while I'm approaching the door I'm trying to put it on, and I'm struggling because these masks are weird ,they don't have the rubber band type ear holders. I've never seen this type. I go to the register and the woman asks me to put it on, I tell her it doesn't fit, the Mario's tacos daughter passes by and asks me to put it on, the woman at the register says, "On!", I show and tell her, "it doesn't reach, and ask I ask the owners daughter if they can provide me one, she says they don't have any extra, and asks me to at least cover my mouth as her employee is asking me for my cash. I apologized to the woman at the counter but she didn't acknowledge me at that point.It's ridiculous how the government has led them to believe that this is either the only way they can stay open, or stay safe. But you DO NOT have to be rude!!
Lived in the area and been coming here since I was a kid.... it's unfortunately not the same. Prices up portions sizes are smaller! And quality just isn't the same.
I love this place! Always my go to spot when I go visit my Nana.Green burrito with cheese & shredded beef tacos are a must!I just wish the owners son & daughter were a bit more social like their parents. Staff sometimes seems under pressure and look irritated ?♀️
This family owned business has a great staff and most customers are known by their first name. It's not unusual to see them gifting Thanksgiving meals as a way to give back to the community. I like the fact that they follow strict precautions in keeping everything sanitized & clean which is a real plus! Hardshell beef tacos, green burritos , chile colorado burritos and fries are my personal favorites. I suggest you call in your order "to go" ahead of time as this place gets jammed packed with clients!
