I have to give a star to post this otherwise I wouldn't give anyHorrible food... Ordered what they called enchiladas, they were gross, then I had them replace it with an order of beef Birria, mostly stewing beef with tomatoe sauce or that spicy tomatoe sauce... My dad had their lengua he said he won't go back there again.. I know I won't!
Bas service!! Staff was rude and by the time food arrived we barely got our drinks and we were half way done with the food ? chips was the only thing we were eating with lentil’s and sauce on the sideA girl that was our waiter Hispanic , long hair, brown eyes white skin maybe 5’4 she’s been working for half a year now and charged me double of what I had to pay .. prices there are going up high I understand but I payed 100$ for four people that’s insane!!!
I loved it!! The service a little slow but, did not inhibit the experience and great food. I had the chivi Birria and hand made tortillas... Delicious and did not disappoint...I highly recommend it!
I go for the Tampiqueña plate. Quality of meat is good, the tortillas are great when they're toasty, rice and beans always compliment the meal. Always a good choice and guaranteed to be full if not all day, then for a WHILE.
Food taste changed alot .. the original molcajetes were authentic now w the plastic ones .change completely the taste ?. Horchata water no flavor maybe tht day i went but is different.. fajitas so dry and minimal flavor...
Food is ok. Although I don't recommend the breaded shrimp... no flavor, no dipping sauce, my rice was cold.
By the time my cilantro came my food was cold. Coffee cup is always empty and servers avoid eye contact, so food got cold waiting for tortillas. Can't blame no one but my self it's not the first time bad service happens. Now why are beans red and watery and birria meat hard and dry?The Truck on Broadway and Washington has better birria, this place is just nostalgia
It's a nice place to eat more Mexican foodI love to eat a Shrimp Cocktail they had a nice way to serve it. They do it on a bowlWith a lot if Shrimp and the vegetableA lot of juice the taste is Yammy. I recommended 100% if you like the seaFood.. a grat service and they brings youFood fast don't wait for long...??
Great service,extra friendly and helpful plus very pretty waitresses ,great serving portion sizes,reasonable prices and awesone handmade tortillas. Just be patient,the place is sooo goood that on weekends a lot of clients waiting to experience the delicious Mexican plates. I'll one of the regular customers every weekend.
Food is delicious. Service is always great. HOWEVER, this place is very, and I mean veryyyyyy run down. It's stuck in the 90s. Everything is mismatch. If it wasn't for the food and good service, I would not step a foot there. Y'all need to remodel.
