I had made a spur of the moment reservation here based on word of mouth while visiting Sonoma County. And I’m so glad we stopped in. The food, the hospitality, the atmosphere and was nothing short of excellent. It’s clear how much care they put into everything here!
Cool vibe and personal service. I'm easily overwhelmed by enormous menus, so it was a pleasure to make quick decisions from a well-curated menu and then sit back and enjoy. Had ordered rather divergent dishes, but the owner recommended a great wine pairing that worked well across the board. Every dish was flavorful and beautiful, and I was particularly impressed by the flavor in the vegetable driven dishes. Za'atar peel and eat favas! The steak sauce was lip-smacking!
The most incredible turnips. Texture like scallops and so flavorful. The service was prompt and cool. We love the small dining space and menu! Well done!
I do not know what the fuss about this place. Overpriced for small portions and the food was delivered cold. The steak was good quality for "choice cuts" but nothing else on the plate but four small portions of cut steak served cold with even colder silverware. Not even bread at the table was included. When I look at the photos online I can tell you our meal did not even come close to what was put in front of us. The bill was shocking for our group. We won't be back and all three of us came home later to eat some more food. Overpriced and small portions.
