The Saloon is in a historic building. There are booths, as well as, tables. There is a bar, too. The servers are friendly and efficient.
All the food was fresh, fast and delicious.
I have been here many times. This is a great place for drinks and food and fun. The staff is super friendly and professional. They have a pool table and a Foosball table. Lots of really cool decorations. It's in the heart of Petaluma. Come eat here and then walk around the neighborhood. You will not be disappointed!

Mcnear's is traditional Irish bar and restaurant with a golden shamrock inlaid near the entrance. It was the perfect place to go on St.Paddy's day. I had a tasty chicken salad and my partner had classic fish and chips with a Guinness. It was lively inside with talking and loud rocking punk rock Irish songs. What an experience!
It's always an experience at McNears. Today was the St Patrick's Day celebration. Highly recommended.
The staff is friendly and fast. The beer is nice and cold. Pulled pork sandwich was very good. Great atmosphere, everyone there was having a good time!
My family (me, spouse, teenager) enjoyed the casual atmosphere and capacious booths. Our server was friendly and very attentive. As for the food, each of us were pleased with our dishes. The Fiesta salad was a standout, consisting of the freshest produce imaginable, topped with juicy, flavorful strips of blackened chicken breast and accompanied by a tasty chipotle ranch dressing. The Smash Burger was well seasoned and expertly cooked. The fish and chips came with a generous portion of succulent Alaskan cod and crispy crinkle cut fries - all without the slightest hint of greasiness. I rarely award 5 stars to pubs serving lunch to tourists, but my family could not find fault with the dining experience. We will definitely return the next time we visit Petaluma.
Great bartender! The pork sliders and citrus rosemary gin and pineapple were amazing! Excellent happy hour selection!
