My friend brought me here to get an early dinner meal on Sunday. The place was busy. The staff people were nice. There was a line to put in my order, which went pretty quick, and waited a little longer at another line to pay for my order, and then waited a few more minutes to pick up my order while they heated up the beans. I brought the bag of food outside and sat at one of the available picnic tables with red umbrellas. I was impressed by the full container of salad that came with the baby back ribs dinner that I ordered. I was pretty hungry at that point after hanging out by the river all afternoon. The full rack of ribs were meaty and came off the bones easily. I inhaled half of the rack in minutes. It was tasty with black pepper and smoky. The potato salad was good, and I really like the sweetness of the beans. A perfect BBQ meal in a casual outdoor setting.
This place is great . The food was so good and the baked goods where amazing and was not dry at all. They were not bad in price at all for what they offer ..They offer BBQ: tri-tip, pork, hot links chicken and more along with in house made potatoes salad ,paste salad and dessert..also vegetarian optionsThis place is a must try ! I believe...?We will definitely be going back.?
I wasn't planning on eating in Petaluma, I was only there to see a man about a tractor, a John Deere tractor.Although I wasn't paying much attention to the surroundings as I drove up Petaluma Blvd but MAN-O-MAN did I pick up on the sweet aroma of pork ribs coming from the grill at Lombardi's...I had to stop!And I'm glad I did, the food was amazing and well worth a two hour drive.
We really enjoyed the spicy pasta salad, BBQ salmon sandwich and Reuben sandwich. Good selection of takeout salads and sandwiches. The BBQ smelled great, but we didn't order it. They're doing a very brisk business around 4pm. Wonderful outdoor picnic tables. Just a delightful find on today's drive through Petaluma.
Delicious! Stopped in while passing through the area. It was crowded, but things moved quickly. Wish we lived nearby so we could eat here again.
Always delicious, BBQ is on point. The sandwiches here are bomb and the meal kits are great for a quick dinner or lunch, whole bbq chicken, salad, and a side of baked beans for like 19$.They once catered an event for my work and brought ribs, tri tip, pulled pork, chicken, tons of sides and sauces, everything was bomb.Definitely stop in if you get the chance
Food was just okay. Tri tip sandwich was smothered in sauce so the fact that it was tri tip was irrelevant. IMO the spareribs appeared to be pre boiled, were super flimsy, had no real smoke ring and had little smoke flavor.
Best sandwich I’ve ever had. That first bite was heaven. I live in Ukiah and just happen to stumble upon this place. So glad I did. Absolutely enjoyed eating my sandwich with my family on there picnic area

The Pulled Pork Sandwich here is the best I've ever had! The flavour was absolutely outstanding. I'm from Canada and whenever I travel I'm always on the lookout for a good BBQ place and Lombardi's definitely fit the bill. The service was great and they had a huge assortment of items on the menu. I highly recommend you check them out of you're looking for some fantastic BBQ.
