My husband and I stopped here after a long day at six flags and we got exactly what we hoped for! A super welcoming environment, friendly regulars, quick tentative service and the food was SO GOOD. Our server also boxed up our left overs for us which was something I had never seen for and really made their service stand out. Definitely happy to have chosen this restaurant and will be coming back. Thank you for giving us happy tummies after a fun day!
We moved to Petaluma less than a year ago and have had takeout from Hunan Village at least half a dozen times. Their prep time is amazing at 10 mins, service is great, and it’s the best Chinese food North of the Golden Gate.
Always loved this place. Great lunches that let you sub veggies for rice and cut on carbs.Deluxe veggies are a must every time. Hot and sour soup is just right. Good dim sum.Great establishment.
They charge $4.00 to put sauce on the side. Obviously an unethical charge. No one charges for sauce on the side, this is just taking advantage. 0 stars for Prince.
My family moved from San Francisco and tried many different restaurants before settling on Hunan Village as our fave new spot- we definitely spoiled by the variety of Chinese cuisine in our old home town. Hunan Village serves delicious and well prepared classics. Portions are just right and the staff is super-friendly and kind.
Great food! This staff works hard to accommodate their guests! I had my first Xmas dinner here. Thank you! Will be back for more.?
I rarely ever make the time to write a review and I love garlic and was so disappointed when my favorite place in San Rafael to get the best garlic chicken ever closed for remodeling and never reopened. Ive been searching for at least 4 years for anything close.I have had a lot of deliveries from Hunan and has always been very good and never noticed they had garlic chicken on the menu. Yesterday I accidentally ordered their Princess Chicken. Though I was ordering from a different restaurant...long story. Anyway...anyplace I order garlic anything from wether Italian or Chinese or any garlic food I always ask for 4 times the normal garlic. Usually most garlic meals or garlic bread never have enough.Anyway the Princes Chicken and sauce with lots and lots and lots of garlic was FANTASTIC!!!!!! My new favorite garlic chicken by a long long ways. Now one of my favorite meals out. Thank You Hunan Village!!!!!
I have ordered from here twice to go. Both times were not good. The first time my credit card was charged twice. Second time, there were bugs in my wonton soup. I am an understanding person and get it that stuff can happen so a single bug in my soup would be understandable but there were multiple which tells me their kitchen is dirty. The health department should pay them a visit. Only redeeming quality is that they were open on Thanksgiving when many places were not.
I love their food. It’s always fresh and it’s not oily plus they give goodies with order.
Amazing service and delicious food! Definitely our new go-to Chinese place in Petaluma.
