Possibly the least flavorful pizza I’ve had in my 36 years on this planet. Sauce-meh, crust-cardboard, got the mushroom pizza and didn’t know what the heck I was chewing on. Save your money and create a different core memory.

Last night at Hank’s. Wonderful experience. There were 15 of us celebrating newlyweds. Practically every one ordered different menu items. Each came out promptly and hot. Nobody had to wait for others to be served. The food was spot on and the servers were as well. I had been there only once before and so enjoyed it then. I’m not waiting so long to go back.

Great little Italian Pizza Place. We went here with a friend couple on a Saturday night. The services was friendly and efficient. The food on as really good. I split the Bartlett and Pancetta pizza with my friend. You might think that sounds weird, but it was awesome. With parmesan and gorgonzola, and a light balsamic reduction, the flavor started out almost sweet, and then transformed into a lovy savory finish. It's a little flavor journey. I normally shoot photos of my food before eating it, but this stuff was both so visually appealing, and yummy, that we all dove right in. Next we go (and there will be a next time) I'll take pictures.

My husband and I were in Petaluma on vacation. It happened to be my birthday so I wanted a special dinner. A Google search brought up Hank's in a list of local restaurants and the menu looked good, so that's where we went. What a find! Our meals were terrific (roasted beet salad and fresh halibut for me, chicken piccata for hubby), the service excellent, and a great value for what we got. I had the tiramisu (the real kind with ladyfingers and marscapone) for dessert and enjoyed every morsel. If I lived here, this is where I would bring visitors for dinner out!

Kid friendly and good service, but salad game weak. The beet salad was $14 and quite small. I did not get the impression of very fresh veggies and the greens tasted a bit like they were stored alongside fish. I hope they can level up their veggie game a bit because it seems like a nice business. For now, perhaps opt for a salmon or risotto, as the entrées are well-liked.

Great food and service. The only thing was that they brought us the wrong pizza. We didn't say anything because we didn't want to wait for a new one but I'm positive they would have made it right if we had said something. The patio is really nice and warm.

I don't know why we waited so long to check out Hank's as we live close by. The reason we went there was another couple invited us to dinner there, and we accepted. We did not really know what to expect as Petaluma has a lot of pizza eateries, so we did not expect this place to be anything special. WRONG. The food, atmosphere, and service exceeded expectations. It's the perfect "date night" pizza kind of place and there's enough of a variety on the menu so that non-pizza people have choices. Their pizza crust is the perfect consistency of chewy and crunchy. It's simply heaven. Again, I don't know why we waited so long to check this place out. Excellent pizza. Excellent service. We will be regulars going forward.

We loved Hank’s. We visited it on New Years Day when quite a few restaurants in Downtown Petaluma were closed, and were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant serving the community.Everything was stellar—the warm customer service, the dishes that we ordered(Atlantic Salmon and a clam based dish both hit the spot), the wine and lemonade were great, and the welcoming vibe inside. They’ve an extensive lunch menu that they serve from until 4pm, we wanted to try all the seemingly scrumptious dishes in that menu. Their bar looked quite fancy too. The server serving the food kept checking in on us regularly to see how everything was. They’ve restrooms in the back.We will be back here soon to try the desserts and other dishes. Thank you!

Service was very good. We had the melted cheese with bread that was amazing. The meatballs were very good also. I only gave it 4 stars Due to the fact that I was trying to get authentic Wood fired Pizza like he would get in Italy.’s pizza is really nothing like that. They put way too much cheese i Which is crazy to hear from me because I love cheese. But when it comes to arsenic Napoleon pizza’s actually very little cheese plus across the Use taste more like sourdough. The pizzas in Italy have a very unique flavor from the dough to preparation, the Caputo flour they use and the wood fired oven.If you are not looking for authentic Italian pizza then this place is great.

It’s easily the best pizza in Petaluma. There is something special about their crust … Our whole family loves Hanks. If you live in town or are just visiting try the brick cheese with pesto and a meat pizza.
