Was just looking for a quick lunch. I wasn't expecting much but my god, I'm glad I chose this place. The emperor prawns was delicious. The chow mein was perfectly cooked, not so oily like many Chinese food places with the right seasoning (not heavy on the soy sauce). The best surprised was soup was included with my lunch special. Again, must Chinese food places omit soup on to go order. When I saw there was soup, I decided to sit outside and eat. The lady working there (owner?) Saw that and brought me a glass of water. Great service especially when I was not expecting!
Traditional style chinese food.Loved it.Tofu was so soft inside I thought I was eating pudding lolReminded me there are many ways to cook vegetables with delicious way.Recommend to everyone especially for vegetarian.
Great little no-frills spot with a huge vegetarian/vegan menu, including many soy-based "meat" items. It's hard enough to find a good vegetarian selection at many Chinese restaurants, much less vegan, so I was really excited to try this place. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient. Our funny & charming waitress greeted us with a huge smile and seemed happy to serve us, perhaps she's the owner. Indoor dining was available but we chose to remain outside at one of the two sidewalk tables. I felt the menu prices were a little on the high side for lunch, but portions are very generous. Our food arrived piping hot within 10 minutes of ordering, impressive for a weekday at noon. I chose the spicy eggplant over noodles for my entree and split an order of steamed spinach buns with my dining companion. Both were really delicious, although the eggplant was not at all spicy. Perhaps they forgot the chilis, but it was so good and I was starving so I gobbled it down as-is without complaint. The beautiful steamed buns were scrumptious, fluffy little pillows stuffed with really flavorful fresh spinach. I'd go back for those alone. I thought they were amazing and seasoned perfectly, but my companion found them bland and added soy sauce. She had the lunch special with BBQ pork over rice for her entree, which also came with egg drop soup. She said both were very good. Portions were large enough that we both had plenty to take home for dinner. With two beers our total was $42. I'd make a trip from Santa Rosa just to eat here again. I loved it!
Great food. Hot fresh and very quick to produce great takeout
Very friendly, I love these people! Great food, best hot and sour soup I ever had. Something for everyone. Come here and you will be back. GUARANTEED!
Thank you for staying open for me. The brocli beef was amazing and the egg fried Rice was not far behind. Thank you for a wonderfully satisfying eventure.
We had a wonderful experience here - the food was amazing, the portions were incredibly generous, the staff was incredibly attentive and seemed to really care about our opinions of the food and if we were satisfied, and they made sure that we had everything we might need or want during our service and packed our leftovers for us nicely. This seemed like a nice little family owned shop, and certainly worth repeat patronage!
We enjoy hanging out. Last night we came to this excellent restaurant which friends told us about. We passed a beautiful experience there with delicious dishes and an efficient team and an impressive chef. We added this venue in our list and we will surely return very soon. We warmly recommend.
