We read the blog on Pony Club saying to check your bill as drink bill was being padded. This was true as we had a drink there during Happy Hour. When I received the bill, regular prices were shown with no reduction. Small amount so never worried about it. However when I actually get my VISA statement, I see that my actual charges on bar tab were increased. Again a small amount not enough to waste too much time on, but it is true that they pad invoices. Buck here and a buck there and nobody likely complains. And this from the manager of the bar whom we met at another function around town the day before. Go for the ambience as it's a nice bar.... beware of the scoundrels stooping pretty darn low. Considering that there is an obvious and intended error going forward to VISA, I will also follow up with VISA to suggest a more systematic check as to intentional wrong-doing to the public.
Really enjoyed a dinner on the patio after a day of wine tasting. Recommended!
Found the best wine in Paso Robles right under our own noses! The Pony Club served up 2 big Cab's that beat anything we'd had all day. Great atmosphere and excellent wine choices
