The food was amazing good I love the shrimp Fajita and the service was very good And they are very generous love love love it
Stopped by for an informal lunch on the way from Carmel to Pasadena. Nice traditional selections of Mexican food. Mexican Rice and Refried Beans were tasty and well made. They say the quality of Mexican Food at an establishment can be judged by the rice and beans. If so, this is a winner. Casual with friendly service
The service and atmosphere were great! The food was good but not the best.
Simple and Delicious! I highly recommend the fajitas
It was just ok. Bland in taste.
Yummy as always.
Papi's is a workers' restaurant: hearty food, generous portions, moderate prices. Very unassuming, friendly counter service with linoleum tables and chairs, and the best Mexican food we had on a recent visit to California. Papi's is the real deal.
We used to live in Paso Robles and Papi's was our go-to place for Mexican food every week. Sunday? Time for Papi's! We came through town on a visit this weekend a had lunch and we were not disappointed. The food, as always, was absolutely delicious! Don't miss the Asada Fries or the Carnitas plate. Both are uhhhhhh-maze-inggggg. A couple beers and I didn't have to eat again for a long time. Expect to have a wait, they are popular and they cook everything to order so it might not be super fast but it is guaranteed to be super GOOD!
Food is good….after standing around waiting for some sign of acknowledgment that I exist, employees look annoyed to take my order, not friendly AT ALL & this is not the first time. Last time I come here.
Since the old owner Felix, Papis is not the same. Had horrible customer service today at lunch. Paid for a gift card last month over the phone and they wouldnt give it to me. Disputing the charge now, I had been doing this for years and years for my dads bday since I'm not local. Very rude and sad we wont be returning.
