Wow! We went here because it was easy and we got a discount for staying at the best western right across from the place.Great service, decent pricing and heaping portions of food. It was getting busy when we got there but the food came out quick and tasted good.I got a Denver omlet and it was tasty with some chalula on it. We all left full, happy, and not hungry until about 4:30pm.I would recommend if stopping off the freeway for food or staying at the any of the close inns and hotels around here.Thank you and keep it up!
Fantastic breakfast...even the coffee was bold a d fresh squeezed OJ another plus. French toast has fresh fruit on top. The large portion of scrambled eggs, hash browns, muffins n 4 medium slices of bacon was great!If you are staying at Best Western hotel they give you 5.00 each voucher to put towards a meal here. We will return. Hotel clean, quiet with hot tub n pool outside.
It's American Diner style food, but it's diner food done well. We got lunch and a few days later someone wanted to go for breakfast so we did. Both times were excellent. Food was exactly to order, our waiter and waitress each time were busy, but still attentive and gracious. Definitely would recommend.

Nice decor and good service. But food was bland. Burger had no taste - salad was boring - iceberg lettuce, tomatos, and cucumbers. Onion rings not crunchy but undercooked. And coffee was kinda weak. Prices were high - and we will go elsewhere next time.
Today we went to this small diner and the food was great. My favorites were the pancakes and the bacon. The service was personable & amazing. The portions are BIG. Wait to get in was easy. We sat at the counter, I recommend it.
The portions for the price you pay is AMAZING. What’s also amazing is their biscuits with gravy. AREYOU KIDDING ME?!? Been here almost three years and this is only the second time I’ve been here. Hubby is a far more picky eater so he ordered a made to order omelette. I wanted everything on the menu but got the steak with eggs and the biscuits as a substitute for potatoes. I love the feel of the place and I must say it was packed compared to the other spots in town. I highly recommend this spot. Service is great, food is great, the owner works alongside his staff, everything is clean….I cannot go on and on about this place. I’m sorry to say we are leaving Cali and leave a place like this behind. If anyone stops in El Paso de Robles, it is conveniently located off the 101 across from the rodeo grounds and shares a parking lot with the BW in case you wanna stick around.
Margie’s is next to my favorite Hotel in Pasos Robles, and the guest's hotel has a discount, which is very convenient.I always get good service.I ordered eggs, bacon, and hash browns; it was simple but delicious.
I am honestly in awe of the work ethic that goes into this family-owned restaurant. Everybody here treated me with such kindness and the bond that all the employees have is unmatchable. This was my first and definitely, not last time at this well-kept business.
