We drove through KFC Paso Robles today and ordered a 3 piece meal and an extra side of mashed potatoes and gravy. When we got to the window to pick up our order, there were 2 mashed potatoes and no coleslaw. Now the 3 piece combo clearly states it comes with a side of mashed potatoes and coleslaw. When I asked for the coleslaw the girl at the window said they swapped it out for the side of mashed potatoes. I told her we wanted a 3 piece combo with an extra (in other words another side order of mashed potatoes, not swapped for the coleslaw). She wasn’t very nice and stated that is what they do. The she said she would swap the coleslaw, but we would have to give back the “side “ of mashed potatoes. The kicker? Not only did we not get the coleslaw, but we were charged extra for the side of mashed potatoes. No credit for the missing coleslaw. In my mind, since the menu clearly states what comes with the 3 piece combo, that is what we should have gotten. But then they decided to “swap it out for the coleslaw” and then charge me extra for a “side” of mashed potatoes? Clearly false advertising and dealing with a rude person working the window. Not acceptable.
literally the worst KFC I’ve been to. The employee’s always have the most “don’t give a $ht” attitude Ive ever seen at a fast food restaurant. The food is generally fine unless they out of whatever you want, which is all the time and has been a problem since I moved here a year ago. We got food last night and a girl handed our drinks with no ice and turned away while my boyfriend asked why there was no ice so he never got an answer. Then the a guy came up with our food and almost threw the bag out of the window and turned without a word as we tried to ask for sauce (which he didn’t ask about and wasn’t the first time this had happened). We had to wait a few minutes for him to come back and rudely ask what we wanted, and have him hand us the sauce with a very clear annoyed look on his face. If there was ANY other KFC in the area I would avoid this one like the plague, but since it’s not we are stuck with it. Hopefully management figures it out.edit: 5/12, went by at 8:30PM. The open sign is off, all the drive through lights are off, everyone inside is cleaning up. Nevermind that the sign on the door says they close at 10:30pm. Worst KFC strikes again.
Following the remodel.. decided to try again. Placed order…. Drove home to discover my side of potatoes and gravy were missing. Drove back with now cold chicken and no side to be met with an apologetic young man handing me my side. (Sorry!) Ummm. Great. But I live 10 mins away and I get the side you didn’t include … my cold chicken and an apology. And they wonder why they struggle- customer service isn’t what it used to be. Shame.
I can tell you that this is the worst KFC you can ever Visit. I recommend you to eat snacks at some store than waste your money here. First of all they was without Dr Pepper, Large combos, no chicken for sandwiches and no fries.Second the chicken was without any flavor, the most important thing on KFC is that tasty flavor of the chicken, but on this place isn't flavored.Again, I recommend you to eat at any Other place.Also they ask me and some friends to eat outside because they wasn't accepting people eat inside.
Hate to say it but chicken sandwich and sauces better then Popeyes. That crunch is incredible. Why is there no KFC in San Luis Obispo?????
Dined in to take a quick break from road trip. Chicken was nice and tender, and staff were friendly.
One of the emoyees grabbed a piece of food in the food prep area and ate it . I told the manager but he did not seem to care.I will definitely not go back to this place again.
The staff are beyond patient!! After witnessing an angry customer in the drive thru get out their vehicle to throw a tantrum on a simple accident of the bag slipping, I have huge respect for the staff. I love the chicken specials I get from the Sunday coupon savers and I enjoy the extra crispy style chicken any day!
This visit was great, food was perfect and the assistant manager here that helped us was fantastic. 5 star because of this assistant manager he should be promoted!
