I spent my birthday here. I felt like a princess. It was so magical. Walking amongst the vines, staying in their 5 star villa, doing wine tasting at sunset on their back porch. It was all straight out of a disney movie. I can't wait to come back on my next birthday. I think I just started a new tradition. Beth was amazing and so accommodating. Would highly recommend for a great time wine tasting and tasty lunch appetizers.
Excellent wine!!! I got a subscription with them after my visit. The food was also amazing, and they have the best customer service. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery by looking at the vineyards while tasting and having fun.I Highly recommend this place!
I've always wanted to visit the Justin vineyard and winery. Having been a fan of their wines, it was finally time! We took a private tour which took us to the member only tasting room as well as a tour of the wine cave!Patrick was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and fun! You probably had at least 8 different tastes and had a fantastic time!We were 15 minutes late but we called and they accommodated us. We were shuttled over from the main winery tasting room over to the private one which was very nice. We would definitely come again!
This place is a must to visit. Staff is incredible and the scenery was awesome! We were very happy with the wine tasting and Kyle’s knowledge of the wines and vineyard was delightful to listen to. He did a great job at making us feel comfortable with our experience there!Highly recommend this winery!
This is a perfect destination that is close to LA,to have a wine tasting experience.Trying to follow the GPS, we were driving for a while in a beautiful countryside with road rolling over the hills and down the valleys until suddenly the gates to the vineyard appeared.Beautiful modern building with a comfortable patio overlooking a vineyard .After we settled in ,we met our server Kyle.As he offered his name the water appeared on our table. His knowledge of Justin wines was exceptional. We decided on a chocolate flight and more exuberant tasting of 4 or 5 of their wines. The flexibility between different bottles made it very enjoyable. My wife and I had a wonderful experience.I would strongly recumbent this winery!
Such a beautiful and relaxing drive to get to the vineyard and winery. Once you do get here, plan on staying a while and enjoying the scenery and wines. The service was good, but slow and everyone was friendly. The reds were all delicious. Tip: just join the wine club considering a standard tasting is $45 per person.
Resting on their laurels ??? We were pretty excited to start our vacation in the Paso Robles area with a day dedicated to wine tasting. We planned carefully and made reservations at the top spots recommended as well as a few smaller wineries. We arrived at Justin at 12:15 excited to sample wine and eat a small lunch before moving on. We were told that they do not serve food on Tuesdays, disappointing, but possibly an oversight on our part .The wines were underwhelming, but more disappointing was the service. We had started the morning at Tablas Creek and stopped at Pasolivo which set such a high bar and Justin failed miserably. Our servings of wine were all poured in the same glass with small amounts of wine remaining from the last ( screams lazy)Our final sample was brought to the table by a gentleman that states “ here’s the wine that one the big award and made them famous “ Honestly, we would have loved to know what award they one and why … maybe he didn’t know or he didn’t care ??We then went to Niner and had an excellent experience..great wine, great format for samples and amazing food
Be prepared for a bit of a drive, west of town maybe 30 minutes, but definitely worth. It is such a beautiful facility & an impressive selection of wine & a great dinner. Probably worth more than 5 ☆. Try to go while still daylight to enjoy the vineyards, oak trees & nature on the way out.If you are taking a ride share like Lyft or Uber be sure to plan ahead as cellphones don't have connection & returning drivers can be delayed increasing you wait.
Sad to hear during our tasting that Justin sold out to the POM Wonderful company, which we found out after they gave us a couple bottles of fiji water. The cheeseboard cost almost as much as our $45 tastings which only featured one good cheese. If you're just looking to snack on something, definitely order the olives and spiced almonds - those were incredible and so fresh and much more affordable. The wine itself is not the greatest and fairly boozy at about 16% per bottle! Preferred our experience at Sculpterra winery and will go to a family or employee run vineyard next time.
The drive out to Justin Winery is relaxing and the views are beautiful! Once you get to Justin you are greeted a floral entrance. The service here is exceptional and the views of the vineyards are breathtaking. All the wine taste great and my favorite is 2018 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Highly recommend Justin Winery!
