Celebrated our anniversary here while enjoying the wine country. We chose this place based on the menu of some of our favorite dishes when we traveled to Tuscany and it did not disappoint! The Grilled Octopus was excellent, charred and smokey but tender. We enjoyed 2 pastas, a linguini with shaved truffle and the paparadelle with wild boar which was excellent, just like Italy with tender pieces of meat. The homeMade pasta noodles delicious. Highly recommend!
Food was delish and everything was the best. My only wish would have been to have a cosmopolitan or a dubonnet or lilletârouge or blanc. None was available so I didnât have any alcoholic drink. I know Paso has outstanding vineyards and wineries. But unfortunately I am allergic to all wines.

Loved every part of the meal. Maybe itâs just an Open Table thing, but I mentioned twice in my reservation that my wife and I were celebrating our 28th Anniversary. I would have felt weird mentioning it at the restaurant and not mentioned by staff. Weâll come back for sure and didnât complain about the anniversary issue, but thatâs what the notes are for, right?
The food and service are excellent over the years. The only thing negative is the noise level but itâs worth it to die in there.
Because. This is the best restaurant in SLO county. Superlative food, seared scallops and carrot purée, truffle ravioli, Oso buco all above the bar. Low noise great wine selection and suggestions from the wait staff. Good teamwork.
