This was our first visit to Paso Robles and we could not have selected a better place to stay. The room was large and very clean, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was delicious and most of all, the people, Martin, Patti and Rosi were some of the most friendly and welcoming people we met on the trip. The common areas, both indoor and outdoor are beautiful. I feel fortunate that we had the chance to stay at Croad and will definitely return. Thanks to Martin, Patti and Rosi for a very fun stay.
Our first trip to Paso Robles and it could not have been better. The rooms in the inn are comfortable and all have beautiful views of the hills. The grounds are spectacular, with gorgeous views all around and wonderful sitting areas out on the main patios and also tucked away amongst the olive trees. It is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed in wine country. The hosts, Patti and Martin, are wonderful. They are warm, welcoming, friendly and truly care that you are enjoying your stay. We will definitely stay at Croad again when we visit Paso. I cannot imagine any place being better!
The rooms are wonderful; all the amenities, beautiful balcony views, comfy beds, great WiFi. The best feature is the downstairs guest lounge and dining area. There is no staff at the inn after mid-morning and it felt as though we had the place to ourselves. We built a fire and opened another bottle of wine after each day of wine tasting. Our hosts, Patty and Martin, could not have been more accommodating.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary with a 2-night stay in the Down Under room at the Inn. Overall, a terrific experience in a beautiful property in a peaceful location with an accommodating staff. We chatted with the owner, Martin Croad, several times during our stay and enjoyed hearing about his experiences starting up and developing the winery. The first morning he made a "New Zealand" breakfast for all (bacon, cheddar, fried egg on sourdough) as Rosie was given the day off. Our stay was in the middle of the week so the winery and tasting room were relatively quiet and it was a delight to enjoy the views at sunset and in the morning. The high rating is well-deserved!
Fabulous place with even better wines and an awesome view and sitting areas....
