Always good food and service ?
If I could leave a 0 I would. I understand Time is tough with staff but the service was TERRIBLE. There was 10 of us and our reservation was at 7:30, we didn’t get our food until after 9. If the server would’ve communicated to us it may take awhile we would’ve understood. We had to call the manager to ask if they can still serve us. Our server was MIA. The manager ended up taking our order. To get drinks took even longer. But the service was still terrible. A few of us had COLD food and undercooked meat but didn’t say anything because it was already late and the service sucked. We will not be back here.
Very good had ribeye and it was cooked to perfection!
Going to dinner there tomorrow night, for our wedding anniversary, for the first time. Called this evening to make a reservation, but they don’t take reservations. Looking forward to a great tasting steak!
We were attending an event in Paso Robles on a Friday evening that began at 6:00, so we decided to stop for Dinner at Cool Hand Luke's before the event. We arrived at about 4:30, and there were only about 2 or 3 tables occupied when we arrived. We were seated fairly quickly, and saw that there were a number of other diners that arrived over the next 15 - 20 minutes, so by 5:00 they had a pretty good crowd. Our Waitress was training another Waitress and we received our drinks and she took our order pretty quickly, however after that the service slowed down quite a bit, as with many other places nowday's after you order, the food is brought out by another staff member, instead of the Waitress. After receiving our meals of New York Steak, and Steak Bites, which both were very good along with the Green Beans, and Chili Beans. The meat's were cooked exactly as requested and were very hot and good, they only item we didn't really like was their version of Mac & Cheese. After our meal was delivered, we didn't see the waitress again, and in fact had to ask another Waiter to find her and send her to the table so we could get a refill on tea and the check. Over all the food was good, but as with the current times they were short staffed, so the service was iffy.

So our visit to this Cool Hand Luke's was probably the worst dinning experience ever. 1st my wife and I ordered a chicken and steak plate, we were ordering 1 meal and 2 salads and an extra baked potato. This order probably took over 45min and then our sever made us aware that there was not going to be any baked potato. Server than brought us out 2 steak plates, which was wrong order. so then brought us out chicken and steak plate.
Can't beat this place for an inexpensive steak dinner. steak cooked perfectly and was tender and tasty. Baked potato was cooked just right. Service was friendly and professional. Will definitely return there when in the area.
Can't believe that it took me so long to come here.. Since we just recently came off the mask mandate I expected to wait quite a while, but the wait wasn't long and though it was busy, we were seated quickly.. The staff is friendly. The restaurant warm and inviting and the food? It was spectacular! I will definitely be back, often
Dining out on a midweek day and restaurant happened to be under staff. I ordered half rack of ribs and chicken combo and my wife ordered the filet mignon. Once I order I was informed that there was no longer serving chicken so I decided to have just the half rack of ribs. When my wife's salad reach our table, the lettuce was browning, the onions were stale and the tomatoes were overripe. Needless to say, she did not eat the salad. Once our main dishes arrived, my wife's filet mignon was seasoned and cooked perfectly...it was a very tasty piece of meat. But, my ribs were disappointing as they happened to be under and overcooked at the same time. I have eaten at various other Cool Hand Luke locations and this was the least appealing ribs I ever had. It was a shame because the server was so nice and accommodating.
