Two words: SLIPPERY SHRIMP. Just trust me on this one. I have eaten here a few times now, and I've never been disappointed. The staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and my two-year-old toddlers had high chairs ready for them as well. Definitely recommended for families!
Very good food. Nice flavors and fresh tasting. Most staff very friendly. One female staff was curt and seemed to be perturbed that we shared a meal.
This is a nice Chinese restaurant in East Pasadena. The staff is friendly and the prices are fair. I got the beef chow mein entree for takeout and it was delicious. Can't wait to go back to try more dishes. Free parking in lot.
Ordered sweet and sour pork and fried rice. I have never been this sick in my life. I ate a few pieces of pork then realized it was hardly even cooked. The rice was very bland. Throwing up all day! Severe food poisoning.
Yang Chow is a mid size Sit down Chinese restaurant. You can order take out. In general they don't take reservations. The good here is very good and has a wide variety of dishes to choose from.

Love this place. The food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff is most accommodating and friendly. The location in China town is also great. Either location will be a treat.
Flavorless and noodles were unfortunately a big disappointment,weren't soft at all but crunchy,lomein is not supposed to be crunchy,I'm sorry but I'd not recommend this place.
The service was slow,but it was Christmas eve and they had a bunch of to go that slowed down the fine in.The sllpery shrimp is outstanding.
Don't get their wontons. It had no stuffing and was all skin. The skin was hard to chew, but vegetables were good.Most disappointing wontons ever.
