Energetic and casual at the same time
First time in Pasadena and this place was the perfect little breakfast spot. Everything was delicious and it was a vibey atmosphere. Would def recommend!

I got a Napoleon, looking at it it appears similar to a baklava… So much different texture, less sticky and sweet, but filled with a fluffy vanilla custard and definitely did not disappoint. Waiting on my coffee at the moment, but by all accounts it is some of the best around! I will update my review if I find that not to be the case… But it looks like they have artists here.Indoor outdoor seating in a small plaza, safely separated from the busy street is also delightful. I think this is one of the gems of Pasadena and LA.
Salmon platter is just the right amount of food to feel full but not guilty after a good workout.Love the outdoor/indoor style seating in the main dinning area. Sidewalk seating is also available. Dogs are welcome :)You have to try the chocolate pistachio croissant
This is the best coffee shop and restaurant I know of in Pasadena. They only use organic ingredients in all of their products and you can taste the difference. Their Blueberry Cheesecake was rich and decadent. The Spanish Latte which is their signature drink was fantastic. Plenty of seating inside or out in an elegant atmosphere. Staff is always friendly and efficient even when busy. Small parking lot in back and street parking along Madison.They have tasty water & delicious lasagna with fresh salads.I visited with two friends & I highly recommend the restaurant.
The eggplant lasagna and vegan chocolate cake are perfection!Service is incredibly fast. It's not a quiet place and there are no plugs, so you can't work. The tuna sandwich is also really good.
They have the best desserts, teas, and coffee drinks. I particularly enjoy their Moroccan mint tea latte with a splash of sweet cream and the pumpkin pie, tiramisu and fruit tarts are to die for! They also have a huge selection of entrees on their menu. The quality of their food is superb and trust me you won’t be disappointed.

TL;DR: Great breakfast place (if you go early enough) although a bit pricey. Staff is super helpful.I ordered: Italian Cappuccino, Spanish Latte, Divine Spice Latte, Nutella Girella Bun, Urth Croissant, The Mexican Omelet, and the Banana Waffle.The Italian Cappuccino is you're standard cappuccino.The Spanish Latte has a nice kick to it. I would recommend this if you enjoy espresso drinks but want to try something a bit different.The Divine Spice Latte was just a Chai Latte with Honey, which I know sounds plain, but it actually tastes pretty swell. Give it a go if you're looking for a caffeine free option. Although I will say that this drink is advertised as having super intricate latte art but for some reason we never got anything like that.The Nutella Girella Bun and Urth Croissants are tasty but I strongly recommend treating them as desserts since they are incredibly sweet.The Mexican Omelet was much better than I was expecting. You get an option to choose for the side, salad, fruits, or potatoes of which I chose potatoes. I strongly recommend going with fruits or a salad if you want a healthier alternative. They give you so many potatoes there's no way you can finish them without having a heart attack. Still really good though.The waffle was also really sweet but less so than the pastries.The real standout of this place though are the employees. Everyone was really kind and nice to talk to!
