First time trying this Los Angeles Institution. I believe they have been around for 40-50 years, and after trying it I can see why. I had a quarter pound burger with mustard pickles and onion my wife had the pastrami and we ordered a large onion rings to share. I believe that this order of onion rings would feed 4-5 people. They are absolutely amazing. The burger was juicy with great flavor. The pastrami was at least a pound of beef with the bun soaked in delicious juice. Neither of us were able to finish our sandwiches and had onion rings left for a late night snack. If you want a great burger don't hesitate to go to tops. I really enjoyed the new experience.
Loved the food chicken sandwich on French roll was delicious. Zucchini fries were also really good, Will be a regular !
Delicious. Large portions and always popular. Everything I've tried so far was good. They've been around since the 1950's. Their chili cheese fries are great and I loved their rib-eye steak sandwich. Also known for their pastrami.
When it comes to Chili Cheese Fries NOTHING beats Tops. Period.Hands down the best.When you order it comes in its own box,either half full or completely full, depending on your order.And I haven't even gotten to the Burgers yet.

The place is okay, but definitely nothing to write home about. The fries portion is definitely amazing, so that's great. Everything is pretty expensive regarding the product, but I haven't tried everything so maybe it is worth the price. No complaints from me. There are only two bathrooms and they are constantly busy.
Listen to me!!!!! The burgers are 1/4 lb. The fries come in a box. An order of large onion rings can feed 4 adults. I have never finished a meal here unless I bought 1 taco. The chicken soft taco has humongous chunks of grilled chicken breast. 2 tacos is a lot of food!!!!!!! Food quality (freshness and taste) gets an A+++++++
This place is good a little pricey but worth the money. Everything you get is big portions. Don’t forget to try their fried zucchini is a plus. 4 stars because the carrots are gone and they need too start doing them again.
This place has been around since 1952. Thats awesome and you can tell that there are a lot of regulars here. Came on a Tuesday at 2 pm and still busy. The drive thru line was going. I chose to dine in. Friendly staff. Their menu is pretty extensive. When I ordered there was no one else in line for a couple minutes so I asked a couple questions. Got the classic Tops which was a cheeseburger plus pastrami. Delicious! Well made and everything was fresh and tasty. Will be back!
Made the trip from Riverside and the food far exceeded my expectations, which were high to begin with. I got the bacon cheeseburger, sweet potato fries, a chipotle asada burrito and an Horchata. Best burger I’ve had thus far, can’t wait to visit again!!
