I LOVE The Mixx. Beautiful, contemporary decor, spacious. Great staff. Fun events—especially their tribute bands featured frequently here. The crowd is pretty friendly and cool. I feel very safe and comfortable socially here. I usually come here for the live entertainment later at night, I am delighted at the quality of the food they offer. So much better than your usual bar fare. Parking is easy on the street nearby. All around, a win in every category. Plus, well ventilated!
This place is small but cool.If you are in line before they open, you may get a small high table 2-3 high chairs. Booths are usually reserved but we got one the 3 times we have been there. Ask a server. You need to spend minimum of $100 but we normally spend over $200 with food and drinks. We like the french fries. The chicken tenders are also good but not enough per serving. The bands have been pretty good. I must say, I no longer visit this place because of the DJ. He/she doesn't know what to play before or after the band. There are too many quiet times in between songs or . plays music that people don't really dance to. If you have people dancing, keep playing good dancing music without pausing or playing something low beat. We told the owner in 3 different occassions that the DJ had to go or go to DJ school and learn how to choose the songs tha go after the other. He had to learn how to mix.We stopped going a year ago. Maybe now is much better if the owner took our advice.
The Mixx has amazing live music!! The nachos were great. Old-fashiones hot the spot!!! Definitely coming back!!!
Bad vibe when we walked in for our group of 7. Attitude from staff the whole time and for was subpar.
Great place to throw parties, or events. Was here for Superbowl Sunday, they had a live DJ and excellent food. I will be going back soon, put The Mixx in your places to go to unwind

Great spot for live blues jams! Great stage but bring ear plugs.
