Absolutely, positively delicious! I ordered pick-up and actually ate it the next day because I got sick and, I can't express how much I enjoyed the stuffed spinach manicotti in pink sauce! It was sooo good and still tasted very fresh. I also ordered calamari which was enjoyable as well. I highly recommend their pasta. Great food and kind, friendly, staff.

Stopped in The Kitchen Italian restaurant for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I had the meatball sandwich which was great and my wife had the eggplant parmesan, which she liked. We had great server who was very friendly. Will definitely try this again next time we are in Pasadena.

Was in Pasadena for work a couple weeks ago and was in the mood for Italian and saw this place was close to my hotel. I'm happy that I gave it a try. I had the bruschetta and chicken parmesan and was happy I did. Both dishes were excellent. I liked it so much, I decided to go back last night for a second time. If you're in the area stop and see my new friends Stacy and Hunter, and have some of their great hospitality and food. Thanks guys!

Still affordable prices for very good Italian fare. Food Chicago style pizza and Sicilian as well. Tasty fried calamari, and large size caprice salad.Filled up and took leftover home.Recommended.Only issue is the parking around the area, but that is for all the businesses around the area.

For me, this is one of those places that I keep returning to because the food is good and the prices are right. And, of course, the service is great! Once again, I took an out of town friend and we had a delicious dinner. One thing I like about the place is it's cozy and quiet. Of course the food is good. Every time I have come, I have had good service, and the food has been good. On the most recent visit, it was the same. This has become one of my "go-to" places when I am in town. Honestly, I won't drive down from Barstow, but when I'm in town, Kitchen Italian is the place to go! Please keep up the good food, the good service, and the good ambiance. I'll be back again!

We love the deep dish pizza! This friendly little hideaway is a little slice of Italy in the heart of California. A wonderful place for a family night out.

Selected this restaurant due to the proximity to our hotel (10 min walk). The menu offered traditional Italian meals along with pizzas and calzones. We started with the Mozz cheese stick, I had the tortellini with pink sauce (tomato and alfredo mixed), my dad had the calzone while my aunt had the chicken parm sandwich. Each of the meals were generous in size and could have been shared. The food was satisfying and filling but not amazing. I would say it was average in taste. Service was a bit slow but we weren't in a rush and there is a shortage of staff in general. I was able to secure a reservation on open table same day, glad I did as they were turning folks away after we were seated.

I would honestly give 4.5 stars if I could. Good service. Quick and friendly.Fried calamari: Good breading, unevenly cookedFried mozzarella: breading needed some flavor and cooked longer because the center was not fully melted.Sicilian pizza: Good flavor, hearty thick crust (my personal favorite but some might want a thinner crust) even balance of toppingsLasagna: flavor profile was rustic, fresh cheeses, amazing sauce. I wish the sauce was inside the lasagna but I understand it's a different style to put it on top. The sauce was phenomenal and I wanted more of it everywhere.

Place was empty, and learned that it was for a reason.Staff was pleasant, food was AWFUL.ordered a caprese salad, new york pepperoni pizza, Chicago deep dish and lasagna.Salad was good(hard to mess that up), lasagna was cold and "rubbery", it just looked and tasted like it'd been sitting for hours before it was served to us.Deep dish was room temperature and soggy, pizza dough felt undercooked.New York pizza was the only one that was warmer than room temperature, the dough on both pizzas was awful quality and tomato sauce was mediocre at best, and that's what basically MAKES a pizza right?I always over order when it comes to pizza and pasta because they make great leftovers, needless to say, did NOT take ANY of it home, 3/4 of the meal stayed on the table.Pretty disappointing for a $100 lunch(with tip) for two people.Gave the place a chance, was our first time there, and will NEVER be going back. The owner needs to do some MAJOR quality control.

First time here. I ordered the chicken parmesan with garlic roasted potatoes, cheese ravioli with sausage and a side order of garlic bread. We got the garlic bread while we waited for the rest of our food.A+ on the garlic bread it had a very strong garlic taste, very good . The cheese ravioli was delicious the sausage really compliments it very well. Now the reason for the 3 stars. My chicken parmesan was not good at all. The chicken was very hard and crunchy almost like woody texture. This completely ruined my night and I had to get dinner somewhere else. I did tell my server the problem with the chicken and they apologized for it .I was not charged for the dish which I really appreciate. Now I do want to give this place another chance but we will see.
