Very disappointed today! This has always been one of my favorites but things have definitely gone down hill. We waited 45 minutes for our food today, and the place was practically empty. I had to go in and ask the bartender who was very sweet. The food finally came but was barely warm. I ordered medium well but my burger was more like medium rare. I asked if the bill might be adjusted. There were 3 of us. The manager took a beer off the tab. The last take out order I received wasn't that great either. Not going back. Sad.
I haven't had a decent meal in weeks, and man did this place hut the spot!!!. Shoutouts to the cook Abel, for cooking up that masterpiece, and also shoutouts to jocelyn,, for being kind, polite, and smiled and laughed. Rare these days to be human. Give these excellent people a raise and a promotion. Highly recommended, oh, and the Ale was cold and crisp and tasty. Respects.
The burgers are so good. You are able to build your own so many different ways. Every time we have visit this place to eat we are never disappointed. Don't miss out on the loaded tater tots, topped with bacon,cheese, green onion. Made fresh . My 2year loves the kids cheeseburger sliders, with sweet potatoes fries. One last thing I can't miss. The service and kindness by the servers has always been welcoming and friendly another main reason why we come back.
I used to live in So Cal and loved going to the Counter. I thought at the time they weren't the cheapest burgers, but they were delicious. They are still delicious, but WOW are they super expensive now. I was blown away how much a burger cost as a take away. Good, but not worth the dough.
If only it came with a top bun.Otherwise, pretty good food. Will continue to order from this place.
Placed order through Uber eats. Cancelled order 2 minutes later to change the CC. Got confirmation email that order was cancelled and refund was issued. Now CC shows I was charged for the order we cancelled and never got and they refused to issue refund. Will never return. Do not recommend.
Favorite burger spot in pasadena. Although due to the pandemic there have been a reduction in options to build your burger. I ate here about 3 days ago and the food is still delicious. We ordered about 30 minutes prior to visiting the restaurant. Took about 15 mins after we arrived to recieve our food.
This is one of the few vegetarian burger places that I really love visiting again and again and not just only for food. The staff here is friendly and attentive towards each and every customer. Their Parmesan Fries should be on your list when you visit
They have a Bison burger on the menu and I thought I would give it a try. Glad I did because it was very good and tasty. It's a nice casual restaurant to go to have a build your own hamburger and have a beer.
Great food with so many options. Took a bit of time for our server to run our card after she took it from us. We always enjoy visiting the Counter.
