Rude staff-small portions-overpricedThis place won't let you in without seeing your covid papers. (In case you don't regularly carry these around). The guy at the door was super rude ( some little white kid power tripping), didn't even let us order. He sent us away and said we can only order online... we were determined for ramen that night so we tried to do that and waited in the car. At the end they were so rude the way they handed the food to my husband (kind of rolling their eyes). It was a very toxic experience for us. The food is not bad at all, but comes in very small portions and is super expensive. Never coming here again.

Ramen is good enough for me. But for other people was small and expensive than standard. You order online and the waitress serve the food to your table.Flavor was good, they have about seven different options, chicken, pork and vegan. Place is cool, clean and the service is fast and gentle.I’m more excited about places that take your order when you are ready to eat, not going to the tablet and make your order by yourself.I can say if you are a good eater the portion could be small for you.We paid $41 for two ramen and water. Plus tip.

I ordered the Old Skool Ramen and Fried Rice. You order from a tablet, sit down and wait until they bring you your food. The broth had lots of flavor, the noodles were soft and the fried rice was excellent. Service was great as well. The portions are big but for the ramen, rice and a water it was $36.47 with a 20% tip included. So it's definitely not cheap but it's worth it.

They’ll make you show a vax card and ID before ordering takeout from an iPad inside. Then they’ll tell you to wait outside for 20 minutes for your order. Bizarre. Decent food, but complete nonsense with their ordering method. Reminds me of a Seinfeld episode.

This review is (probably) specific to take-out: ordered one bold and one old school ramen. They give you the broth and the noodles in separate containers, and the idea is you poor the broth over the noodles and they instantly become soft and delicious. Instead, the noodles were impossibly clumped together and the broth wasn’t nearly hot enough to break them up. So they remained a gross clump that didn’t absorb any of the yumminess of the broth. I had to snip them with scissors, and even then they didn’t taste good. All that said, the broth really is yummy. Not sure what the solution is for take out, or if our order had been sitting out just a little too long, but what I got was not worth ~$17, and I won’t be returning for take out.

This is one of the top ramen joints on my quest to find the perfect ramen. I look for a few things:1. Depth of Flavor - I want to taste layers. I don't just want a "broth" that kinda tastes like pork or shoyu or chicken. I want deep flavor.2. Noodle texture - they should chew well, and have great consistency, not to rubbery, not to easily broken.3. Meat (if applicable) - decently thick pieces. No thinly sliced, paper-thin things. It should be firm and have a sufficient amount of fat.4. Extras - things like green onion, wood ear mushroom, soft-boiled eggs, should all be options. The more, the merrier.Tatsu has all of this. This place does ramen the way it should be done. Old School, Japanese style. This is why it is in my top 5 places in So. Cal. However, I am in search of other spots.....

This is a Japanese ramen restaurant with good business. Many young people like to come here to eat ramen from the East. The taste is delicious, especially the soup is very rich.

Pretty decent Ramen place on Pasadena. The soup is bit salty and greasy. Didn't really tickle my pallet. May be other Ramen are better, but definitely didn't enjoy mine. Soup base needs work, bit more refreshing, deeper, and rich taste. Over all decent Ramen shop!

A very popular Asian noodle shop, many people come to eat it throughout the day. I like the noodle soup in this shop very much, especially the soup is rich in taste, and the noodles are also delicious and strong.

Went there on sat night. Broth was extremely salty. Veg are only cut green onion. No mushrooms,no carrots or any other type of veg. Noodles were extremely thin. It is over priced. Disappointed. Not going there again
