After active shopping, my friend and I decided to have a bite to eat nearby. Just on the first floor of the shopping center was this pizzeria. I will say right away that we did not eat pizza there, maybe it was evening (and we are watching our figure :) ). But from the smells that scattered around the cafe, it was clear that the food there was very good. I can say for sure that my favorite Cobb salad is very tasty! I advise you to take 1/2 portion, as a whole portion of ramchitan is clearly a giant! I also recommend trying the lemonade!
This is a really great place for breakfast food. So tasty and with a big meny. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, fresh fruit and delicious juices. Good coffee. Excellent service. It's not that cozy there, but it's ok. I guess this is a typical American. But I think it's a very good quality offering of the place and I really enjoyed eating breakfast there. I ate american pancakes for the first time in my life and enjoyed it :)
Hands down the best pizza ? ? I have eaten in Pasadena! I tried the Tucci's Special. I was sold. The next time they ordered the Tucci Special with pepperoni and my mind was blown ?! The crust, the tomatoes, the basil, the garlic...All of the flavors blended and enhanced the shrimp and the spicy pepperoni brought it all home.
This is some of the best Italian food ever!! Everything is so delicious that I can’t pick a favorite dish. The Cesar salad has some of the best dressing I’ve ever had, the Bianca bread is fresh and delicious, and the white pizza has amazing crust. It was well worth the drive to Pasadena!I believe this place has the same owners or is in someway affiliated with the old Papalucci’s in Long Beach. Please come back! We miss your food. ☺️
I have been going to Tarantino’s since the 80’s. It was always a little pricier than some other places, esp. chains, but their dough and ingredients were always much better.During the pandemic we didn’t go much. Over the years the price crept up, usually faster than other places. When I went the other day the price was up to almost $30 for a medium sausage, mushroom and bell pepper. When I got it home, there were about 8 tiny bits of sausage a few more mushrooms and more bell peppers. The dough was good, but I felt cheated on the ingredients considering the price.Hate to take them off my list, but not worth going back unless that was a one-off error. Some of the regular staff is still there so it doesn’t seem to be a case of ownership change. I didn’t take a close look at the pizza before paying or would have declined it.
I’ve been going here for 39 years, since they first opened. It’s been a wonderful time and I cherish every time I go there. BUT…that florentine pizza is off the charts every time! Danny, you and your crew are incredible. I can’t thank you enough for all the great times. Lots of love my friend.
Salad was delicious. Made sure i finished even just the sauce with the bread. Pesto pasta was good too. Pizza was ok or.maybe we ordered the wrong flavour. Calzone dessert was just ok too. Shouldnhave ordered the tiramisu. Staff are all pleasant and helpful.
No frills and really good food. The pasta dishes are simple and absolutely delicious!
Excellent Italian food all around. We like their pizzas, which have delicious crust and well balanced toppings, good even as takeout after driving home. Other favorites are the stromboli, putanesca pasta, and sausage & peppers. Service is always friendly and speedy.
Good service, friendly and accommodating. Good pizza, probably one of the last places on the planet to offer carafe's of wine!
