I’ve gone twice so far and had their White Peach Oolong and Sunright fruit tea. So delicious!! The latter is the perfect summer boba. At first, I felt skeptical about the cheese foam. Now, I can’t imagine a milk boba without it. I would’ve taken a pic, but I drank it too fast ?

What are my new favorite boba spots! It's hard to believe that Pasadena is becoming a high quality boba tea area, though not on par with San Gabriel or Alhambra because of the sheer number of boba spots in those areas, I no longer need to go south for top notch boba spots. Just in Old Town, there's Jin Tea, Motto, Prolece (my fave), Motto (Japanese souffle pancakes, yum and now now Sunright! Try their Oreo brulee tea and even their house is excellent, and for those who love yogurt, they have excellent yakult drinks!
Fantastic boba tea place, loved the Jasmine boba tea. Very clean and well organized place. I definitely like the way you order, pay and get your drinks here. I will definitely be back.

Came back yesterday and the store was packed. I ordered a hot oolong milk tea and it took longer than usual, seems like everyone is short staffed lately. The drink was delicious and I am glad sunright has some hot options, most other boba shops do not.
I have been a fan of sunright since I first discovered them in Little Tokyo. This new location in Old Town is right in the heart of all the action. The shop is the usual sunright clean and modern style with bright colors, it really stands out on the block. Today I tried something new, the taro milk tea with honey boba and it was delicious! They use freshly cooked taro and turn it into a paste which they coat the cup with, none of that artificial taro powder here. The honey boba was soft, chewy and warm, their boba never disappoints. Service was friendly and I got my drink quickly. If you are ever in the area do give sunright a try, I am pretty sure you will become a fan like me.
My usual custom order is a Matcha milk tea with pudding and brown sugar boba. This combination is one of the best boba drinks I have had anywhere. Sunright indicates they use premium Matcha from Japan and you can really tell, its very smooth, not gritty like some other places. Both their cream and caramel pudding are so good and their boba is always warm and chewy. If you are looking for higher quality boba drinks then give Sunright a try. Their store, design, service and even cups are all top notch. It is a wonderful addition to the Pasadena boba scene.
Saw the excellent reviews on Yelp so had to check out this new boba shop. Seems like everyone loves their Sunright fruit tea so thats what I got. I like how you can customize sweetness and ice levels so I got 75% sweet with regular ice, also added jasmine tea jelly which I have never seen elsewhere. The drink was fantastic! You can really taste the fresh fruits and quality of the 4 seasons tea. The jasmine tea jelly was a surprise, it was really good, the consistency of grass jelly with a distinctive jasmine tea taste. I am going to go back probably tomorrow to try one of there milk teas. The hype is real guys.
