I've always wanted to go to a Shake Shack but never actually went because I wasn't sure if I would like it. Well, when my friend and I were in the area and looking for a place to eat, they said it was great so we went and got dinner. They were a little busy, but handled it exceptionally well and we waited less than 10 minutes for our food! The cashier was incredibly nice and friendly and made sure to read our orders back to us to make sure they got it right. The food was SO GOOD! I got the Shroom Burger, and I absolutely loved it. You could tell it was made fresh, not just reheated in a microwave or something, and the milkshakes were also to die for! I also love that they have special milkshakes in June and the proceeds go to The Trevor Project, which is a charity that means a lot to me! I will definitely be having Shake Shack again!
The other reviews are right. The Shackburger really is very small. It is just a little bigger than the McDonald's burger on the Dollar menu. It is a little bigger and tastes better, but I don't think it has the value of at least 3 times the price of the McDonald's burger. It is so small it's not even enough to feed a child. I couldn't even have much of an experience like taste the beef or the sauce because there is just so little food. It was at the last bite that I could experience the char and taste of the beef probably because there is only a little bit of bread left at the last bite. The guy at the pick up window outside was nice though. I asked for condiments and napkins and he made sure I had enough of what I need. Nowadays, no one bothers to give you any napkins or anything anymore. You should feel grateful or lucky if they even give you what you ordered at any establishment.
It's great to have this chain in the west coast.Compared to In-N-Out, I think the burger is less to my palate, but the fries and shake were better. I need something crunchier in my burgers to help the texture, like onions or pickles, and the default ShackBurger didn't have that. I still think it's great, though.
Nicest staff of any restaurant I’ve ever gone to in Pasadena
Lots of new flavors of chicken burger and drinks which I haven’t see them in London! And the chicken burger is surprisingly juicy! Impressive!
I ordered a burger with shake sauce lettuce and tomato on a gluten free bun. As you can see in the photo, they could've been a little more generous with the lettuce and the shake sauce. Hardly worth the effort. The gluten free bun was a typical dry gf bun.Although the hamburger and fries were good, I was disappointed with the very small piece of a lettuce leaf and the minimal amount of shake sauce.
This is a review for only the black truffle burger and truffle fries. I thought they were actually not bad and I really liked the truffle sauce! It was kind of creamy, slightly garlicky, and def added more earthy aroma to the fries. It was bomb. Downside? The burger was a bit small, I just couldn't help but wanting more. Overall, worth trying!Side note:It's a VERY small lot, it's only one way in and one way out.
Cleanliness 4/5Service 5/5Price 3/5Taste 5/5Their menu is on the pricey side for fast food but I think it is well worth it for how it taste. Currently, they have a new truffle burger that taste absolutely amazing! Along with that burger I recommend their stack shack. It's a delicious burger that has a huge portabello mushroom in it.
Was really good only issue is they did not give us our fries. The black truffle one we were trying to try and we called and let them know. It was a really far drive to head all the way back for fries in one day they said they would contact us back and never did. Other than that the food and shakes were good.
I am so impressed with this restaurantI will definitely be going back As well as trying other locations to see if they compare to the Awesome experience I had. the staff was friendly the environment was clean the landscape was impeccable. It had kind of a fast food feel to it but the food was anything but from the gourmet hamburger to the best French fry I have ever had and the milkshake was something out of the clouds of heaven.
