Review for February 21st 2022. Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles is located in Pasadena California. They provide great customer service. Thank you Ozzy for the great service you provided for us. The food was very delicious. I also enjoyed the coffee. Especially the chicken and especially the waffles. I'm not guilty, to say that I absolutely love waffles. I will definitely want to come back and dying here. Perfect location in Pasadena with the Los Angeles County. Great spot for eating after a long hike.
Been coming here since I was a kid in the 90s. Good food and service. Can get crowded on the weekends and parking is limited. This last time the food did take about 30 minutes to come to our table and there was only like 3 other occupied tables but at least the food is consistently good here.
Definitely a spot you have to stop by if you're a Chicken and Waffle connoisseur like I am! Can't wait to visit again when I come back to the West Coast.
The menu is "deep" with many selections - - don't bother asking about Salads here.The servers are really polite and seem well meaning. The prices are so high - - for the food portions and for the food quality that I am probably missing something - - because our total bill was about twice as pricy as expected.Maybe the fact that Barack Obama (bless his heart) ate at this location somehow justifies these exorbitant prices?
Food is awesome. Unfortunately the service is not always attentive. I still rate it 5 stars because I think it's more a management issue. Simply not enough staff. They over work their employees and I empathize with the staff who simply try to accommodate numbers that often just seem unreasonable. I tip them very well.
Delphine is the sweetest waitress! We had an awesome time at Roscoe's, as always. For one of our friends it was her 1st time there, she enjoyed it very much. I think the photos speak for themselves. The food was great as always. We all cleaned off our plates.
Leonia the waitress there was very helpful ? ? and fun. The look of the food have changed ? through out the years. From running into Sin Bad at the Roscoe's of Sunset ?, at the Party spot on Pico, coming to Roscoe's on Lake the food always tastes Good ?.
Where do I begin, first the bathroom was dirty. Both of the stalls in the women's restroom were dirty. Second I ordered the #21 and asked for a thigh and a breast and I also asked for it to be smothered in gravy. Well my plate arrived and it was two thighs, only one had gravy on it. Plus the chicken was way over cooked. My server didn't show any concern when I said that my order was incorrect. All she did was bring me a side bowl of gravy. Oh did I forget that my cornbread was undercooked and my wife's food was cold. The entire time our server never came to try to rectify the situation. Needless to say that I will never patronize this establishment again.
I hadn't been here in a while and I don't plan to go back. The waitress was very nice and the food came out quickly, so that was good. I don't care for the way your side dishes are predetermined with no option to change, even if the price of what you want is comparable to what they want you to have. Lastly, waffles do not belong in banana pudding.
Chicken and waffles are always amazing. Skip the biscuit and gravy.
