We love Pitfire Pizza. We usually go to the one near our house, which is amazing, but we were in town so decided to stop and expected the best just the one in Marina Del Rey.They delivered on all counts. We have now been twice, one to pick up and one to dine in. Both times we were so happy. They have just the best pizza and all of these spots do. They service is spectacle and they are fast. When you call in to get a pizza to go, get in your car because it will be waiting for you. When you dine in everyone is just so nice. Your pizza will be hot and perfect. They also make some great pasta. And they are nice to kids.
Friendly staff, lots of seating in door and out. Waited about 15/20mins for the food. Food was amazing, will definitely be back!
The food was great as always but it was the most stressful dinner at a restaurant. There was a table of about 4 families with no less than 7 kids running around and putting feet on the tables running around and yelling. The staff was obviously annoyed as well but it did nothing to deter the chaos. We go out to eat to enjoy a dinner in a relatively calm environment and this was absolutely ridiculous.

My wife loved this restaurant even we never dine-in and always picked up by me and she sat in the car. The restaurant is on a street full of Internet celebrity restaurants such as Randy's Donuts and Five Guys. This street is difficult to park but fortunately, Pitfire has its own park lot. Pitfire is famous for its pizza and it's not fast food pizza. The pizza is much sourer than normal franchises like Domino's or Pizzahut, that's the reason why my wife loved it. The Garlic Ginger Chicken Wings are also good, with crispy skin and good flavor.
My wife and I have been regulars at this Pitfire Pizza location for some time now, and have been going to Pitfire in general since 2012 (DTLA location). Typically we share two pizzas and a salad. Came on a random Tuesday night, place was slow, and thought what could go wrong?Well I think the pictures pretty much say it all here - - both of our pizzas were essentially burnt to a crisp and were not edible. Occasionally, there is some charring, but it is never inedible like it was tonight. On top of that, service was pretty much non-existent (it normally isn’t fantastic to begin with, but usually a little less surly), and clearly, the person responsible for quality control fell asleep at the wheel tonight. Granted this isn’t a gourmet dining establishment, but something like this shouldn’t have ever left the kitchen. The only thing that tasted great was the Kale salad beforehand. Leaving hungry and out close to $50 for two burnt pizzas, a salad, tax & tip, we headed to another restaurant to curb our appetite.Sadly we won’t be back.
They gave us a salad with no dressing. When we discovered this once we were home and called, they simply told us we were wrong and dismissed us. Shame because the food is good and I don't like to be negative about restaurants during this time.
First pizza on new years day! Happy 2022 all! I will start my journey of reaching new and cozy dinners w the sole purpose to find great food and amicable staff! To share with you readers my great, good and not so pleasant experiences around California! So let's start with this delicious pan tossed pizza! Simple and the bread flavor is there! The dough was perfectly rise so it can be stretched and then baked w mozzarella, tomasauce and basil! I order a glass of IPA and to my surprise i got a barrel!! We all love the pizza and we eat it all the way to the crumbs! Affordabl and cleanplace. Management was pleasant and attentive.
Great food, great service! And, they were able to accommodate our large group of around 40 with only a few hours notice. They were short-staffed, and yet, our food still came out quickly.
I can’t really leave a review .. since our food doesn’t seem like it will ever arrive. We are the ONLY people here, and ordered 4 pizzas - 2 of them kids’. Not only was the girl who took our order incredibly rude and dismissive, but our kids are now crying from waiting so long to eat.If the food ever arrives (before we simply walk out), I’ll comment back on that.Note: 2 kids pizzas, 2 adult pizzas, 2 sodas …. $56. FIFTY SIX DOLLARS.UPDATE: are you kidding me? Kids pizzas are about 7 inches across and truly disgusting. Falling apart and loaded with sauce.** When a kid refuses to eat a cheese pizza, you’ve got a real problem with your product.Total disaster. Never again. Slow, expensive, rude, inedible. I guess I know why were the only people here now while there is a line down the block at Shake Shack next door.Coming here was a costly and frustrating mistake. Not sure how this place can even stay in business with such poor service and quality.
