First of all let me say that their food is good but their service is extremely bad! We have gone since they opened and they still have problems with orders. I understand they get busy. Ordered today and went to go pick up 20 minutes after ordering. No knowledge of the order!!! I told them to cancel it then. Ten minutes later they make the order and it’s ready. And at 1:30 the order went through and credit card charged. In past if you ordered online and go pick up your order then they make the order when you arrive instead of it being ready! Horrible time management. Not worth the air or hassle. DO NOT ORDER ON THEIR WEBSiTE. For some reason they check it last. Still waiting for them to refund the money they charged us on a order they did not know know about!
The ramen place was closed and i wasn't really feeling it. Wanted something light, and between a hot chicken and a hot dog stand i saw this place. The service was great, i saw the Xoi Chien rice patty and ordered that. For the spring roll selection looks great but since it was order of three, i demurred, knowing the Xoi Chien would be a lot, but the helpful counterman, Ethan, suggested that I could get a single spring roll a la carte, so that's what I did. I got the charbroiled nem, a sausage sliced lengthwise (you get to choose your protein vegetables and toppings --along with a sauce) and it was really good.( I admit that I bit into the wrapper because it's the same material as the rice roll, but with the brand name). And the Xoi chein was excellent! Piping hot it was a cross between a rice roll and a dumpling, and better. Highly recommend
Some of the best spring rolls I have ever eaten. Staff was super accommodating when I placed an order for 50 people and got it prepared in 15 minutes! Impressive!
Excellent food really nice people lemon grass bahn mi was great chicken was flavorful the toppings tasted fresh and the jalapenos gave it just the right amount of heat...spring rolls were equally as good will check this place out again when I'm in the area
Amazing and tasty meats and rolls! Some of the best rolls I’ve ever had!
This spot was such a surprising find for us! We had just finished a hike and were feeling starving and hot when we were wandering around to find a snack. We turned down a street and found a few tiny little shops with the one with Rice Paper catching my eye first!Spring Rolls - ($11.50) - We had ordered 1 of each, shrimp, pork belly and their nem. As simple and fresh rolls were, we weren’t really expecting anything mind-blowing but this was so good we were wanting to go and order another round. Each fresh roll is made fresh to order and you can basically build your own fillings, all of them come with an egg roll shell to give a much appreciated crunch with each bite. Their nuoc mam was also on the sweeter end which was delightful. My favorite was the nem roll and we just did our classic fillings with some herbs and rice noodles.Totally dig our rolls, they’re definitely way too pricey for what they are, at $4 per roll but if you’re too lazy to make it at home this is definitely a good spot to curb your cravings.
Really good! And really good Vietnamese Coffee that's not too sweet! :) On point!
Very tasty spring rolls. The food seems to be healthy too! An excellent place to go, especially if you're in a rush. Note that the menu options and seating are limited.
This is one of my favorite new lunch spots! Maps of favorite Vietnamese roll place is summer rolls located in Rosemead and I think Temple City, but this one's located in Pasadena and less expensive. You get to build your own rolls from choosing the meat, to the vegetables, to the sauces and the add-ins. It's definitely the Chipotle of Vietnamese spring rolls! But the quality is pretty good and the flavor is always there and for the price, it's super reasonable for the quality of food that you get. I come here now at least once a week!
So proud of Vietnamese cuisine and this concept. So fresh, delicious, priced reasonably. My favorite in Pasadena:)
